Yep, he was 19 but Zaha has been doing well in the Championship since he was 19 too by all accounts.
And Welbeck suffered Knee problems later on during his loan IIRC. Before that wasn't doing anything great, though he was struggling being a bit frail from all accounts.

Welbeck's knee problem was a long term one caused by his growth spurts, if I recall. It plagued a lot of his early career.. playing week in week out caused it to flare up.

He isn't really like Welbeck at all, except for being black with a sometimes ungainly stride, very different players.
Surprised that Ekeke got banned. He has a bit of the contrarian about him but he didn't do anything that bad.
I quite like the look of him. He's quick, skillful and scores goals. What I don't know yet is how good he is in terms of decision making and passing, but I look forward to seeing him play for us.
Nobody said they were similar. The closest anyone came to it was Sultan saying they will be competing for the same position next season, based on this season- and unless we are moving one or more of our senior strikers on, that may well be the case.
The only 'comparison' was Cenvo using Zaha's success in the Championship, compared to Welbeck's lack of success 'at the same age' as an indicator of talent. Of course, talent is only one part of what makes a player and Welbeck has had physical issues in the past.

People don't get banned for their opinions. I generally agree with Ekeke on Zaha and I'm the one who banned him, so no, that's not why he was banned. He'll be back.
Not that he's a bad player or anything, but doesn't look anything like a potential worldclass player even at age 20. Money definitely could be better spent on players to bring us up another tier to compete with the likes of Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Slight disappointment at this signing for the money rumoured as its a sideway move, in terms of improvement.
