Can't wait for the first monger to call him frustrating when trying something and losing possession though.
He will frustrate though. One just has to keep in mind that it goes with the territory when it comes to young skilful wide players. I like that he has the technical ability to play little passing interchanges in and around the opposition box rather than just going down the touch line.

Although I hate the consistent Ronaldo comparisons, but he really does remind me of early Ronaldo when he first joined.

I can definitely see him being inspirational and frustrating in equal measure.

He has the skills and the confidence, I hope he can fine tune his crossing and his finishing and then he can become an absolute beast of a player.

The finishing looks as much to with the mentality of beating a man with speed and power to open up the shooting opportunity, as opposed to with skill where the extra couple of seconds can often lose you the position to shoot. I noticed that a few times today.

There is no question with his skills that he should be providing a lot of goal scoring opportunities and plenty of assists.

He loves that little stepover and shimmy in the box. He's already shown he's got a good eye for a pass and can beat players for fun but I'd not seen him work so hard (and effectively) without the ball before. Very nice to see from a flair player. Doesn't look like he strikes the ball well at all though. He's like a good version of Obertan.

I loved the last, subtle little pass to Januzaj inside the box at the death. Lovely timing and weight on that one.

See seems to have speed, control and awareness. All too often you see young lads with his attributes taking on a player or two, driving at the defence and then playing a nothing final ball (notice how I'm being good and haven't mentioned Nani yet) but he seems to be aware of what he's going to do before he does it, which is quite impressive.

He looks like a player who you just want to strike the ball hard when he gets a chance.

Absolutely fantastic player. Has bucket loads of raw natural talent, and he's only going to get better.
I've heard it said a few times, but I thought I'd mention it too -he's an uncut diamond who can be shaped into a serious monster.
He's definitely talented and good enough for first team football, possibly even regular playing time if he keeps it up

His passing was very sharp considering that was his first start in pre-season. He's going to be a right handful in and around the penalty area too, all good signs so far.

I didn't see that from him actually. He seemed more of a player who either looked to go past his man, or slip a clever ball to a player either side of him. If he added a surprise shot to his game too, we could be seeing something special here for certain.

What I like about him is he seems a bit more than your classic, tricky, talented but erratic winger in that he always seems to look for the right pass, the right solution. He's got a footballing brain on his shoulders.

He's a starter for me already. So unpredictable - I'd hate to defend against him. Seems like a 50-50 chance of which way he'll go, and defenders always seem to go for the wrong one. He reads the defenders so well.

Liked how he was trying his best to get Lingard that hatrick at the end.

we need to take out time with the kid but he is so impressive already.

He and Januzaj are really impressive IMO. 2 big lads who must be involved this year.

Unpredictability is an overrated skill

"Nobody knows what he's going to do" is almost always said about a player who has no fecking clue himself.

His ability to drive at the defence and never lose focus on what he wants to do with the ball is the most impressive thing about him. You can tell he has a final ball in mind before he gets there rather than just getting there and thinking "oh feck, what now". At this club he'll become a beast within two seasons.

I loved the bit when he, Januzaj, Cleverley and Lingard were all part of a delicious movement near the end of the game, when Januzaj hit the post. It was like straight from Barcelona.

The intelligence within our youngsters are a joy to see.

Well those who say "unpredictable" about Zaha obviously don't mean it in the bad way in which some tag Anderson with that word. Anderson is unpredictable because we never know what type of Anderson we'll see.

Zaha's dribbling is unpredictable in which you can never tell which way he's going to go.

Yeah there are two kinds of unpredictable. Ironically

Put in a hard work defensively which is always good. Offensively there are so much things to like about him.

Really good performance, the most impressive thing for me is he never seems to feel forced to play in a blind cross or panic himself into passing without a target. So many times wingers get into a position and then just play a hopeful ball across, but Zaha is a lot more patient with it.

For those who've seen him regularly, how does he compare with Sterling or Oxlade in terms of where they are now and potential?

Yes. This young lad has good footballing brain, and capable of a bit playmaking, other than just being a wide-man.

He could have a similar impact to Ronaldo in his first season. He might even be more productive, because Ronaldo went into nuts mode with his step overs while I think Zaha is a tad more mature. If Zaha has the same level of ambition, he will a United Great because he's got a natural ability. I'm sure he'll feature lots, but as an impact sub even, he would be a lively option. Who says 'Ronaldo' wouldn't return? :)

He's very talented, can't wait to see how he develops with us. Certainly has all the tools to become an excellent winger.

That's what they call 'big news'.

EDIT: Actually, it's just a load of stuff made up to give an interesting headline to the story 'Zaha does well so far on tour.' They don't have a clue what Moyes intends to do in terms of training, and whatever it is I doubt it's something so weird and arbitrary. But it's a nice sounding story: veteran, much-decorated winger to become young, promising winger's mentor. Awww, the United way, etc etc etc

He'll make it. He doesn't look like a negative character and his talent is already appreciated in some part. His real test in league/cup matches is still ahead of him but that's typical phase of a raw player that needs advice and inspiration. He'll receive loads of that in this club.

Interesting times with him in the team and from what I saw, England would also need the type of magician in their team, in future.

I thought he wilted after 70. Wiltfried Zaha? But all in all he looks solid technically. Drifted inside a little to much but has good energy and has great feet.

The pitch really was awful though.
