He is going to walk into the team from day 1 at this rate. What does that say about the quality of our players when an almost teenager coming from the Championship is better than our existing wingers.

Not so sure I reckon Valencia would pretty much need to have gone 12 rounds with Chuck Norris for Fergie to even consider not starting him.

He's signed for the club at the best possible moment with all the poor wingers we have now

You can argue he's signed for the club at the worst possible moment given that it seems impossible for anyone to be picked over Valencia...

Real shame he didn't come to us in January. Could have been a breath of fresh air on our wings and by some miracle, may have pushed Valencia to improve his form. (don't laugh).

I'm really looking forward to seeing him play now. Unless we somehow turn him into a bumbling, uncoordinated feckwit.

Nah, we'll probably persist with Valencia and Young. Last 3 minutes for him.

I hope he gets In the team in front of young. Just so I don't have to watch him diving all then time.

A 20 year old came on trial yesterday from Uruguay. But yeah, Zaha will be it.

I do wonder how much of the appeal of joining Manchester United was due to working under Fergie!

I wonder what the new signings (RVP included) make of it all.

RvP has no incentive whatsoever to move anywhere else. I can imagine other player wanting to move on but most will probably test the waters under the new manager, who knows, for all we know he might turn Anderson into a first-team regular.

Last time I check other clubs managed to sign decent players as well :)

Remember the day Fergie signed Zaha, because in 3-4 years he's going to be a world class player and one of Fergie's final and finest signings ;)

Of course he will be gutted, only a fool would think otherwise.

He is going to miss the opportunity to work with one of the greatest managers of all time. The silver lining is he gets to be his last ever signing and start his era at the club along side a new one.

People saying 'SAF's' last ever signing, I don't think that will be the case, I think there are things already going on with players that were started because of him, he is still joining the board so will have a say on these things I would imagine.

Poor Zaha missed out on playing for the greatest manager of all time.

and to think he could've played half a season under him but chose not to (obviously he wasn't aware of the circumstances, otherwise I doubt that he'd choose to stay)

Would Zaha have improved our wingplay this season? Could it possibly have been worse than Valencia attacking wise? Valencia still contributes very well defensively.

Interesting version of events. All reports insisted loan back was a condition of sale.

First play-off leg tonight at 19.45 live on Sky.

Crystal Palace fans are expecting big things from him tonight due to occasion, TV, Moyes, dip in form etc.
