I'd rather Zaha than Sterling. Zaha to me has qualities that make him a better winger. He's lightning quick and built like a tank so even when his technique fails he's got his pure athleticism. He is a deadly crosser by the looks of things as well, which is perfect for United and he has a bite about his game that I don't think Sterling does. Zaha just seems like a player that will get stuck in and keep on trying.

Sterling is a tough little bastard, he doesn't shirk a challenge. One of his mid-season stats showed a high percentage of ground 50-50's won.

He has a lot of bite from what I've seen.

Is their a basic rule on the Caf that every player thread must be changed into some type of weird comparison thread?

It's a very obvious way of assessing a player.

It also seems to be a caf rule to get irrationally sensitive about two football players, often in the same position, being compared. Comparing one footballer to another, who would have thought it?!

They along with chamberlain look the best (or at least most hyped) young up and coming English attacking talents. Seems normal to get opinions on how our talent stacks up against our rival's. Your response is a bit strange really.

Chamberlain is a fine little talent, hes got alot of intelligence in his game. Great pace and passing ability.

Indeed, it's a pity we didn't get him. He might just turn out to be the best of the three, but time will tell. It's an interesting comparison. We should probably rate them in terms of:

Pace:
Technique:
Dribbling:
Crossing:
Passing:
Vision:

first second and third on each. If that isn't being geeky, I don't know what is! :D

I just checked his birthdate and he's got a brother called Neville!

Parents with a sense of humour; but no mercy on their offspring.

(I realise most caftards will read the above and think "What the fecks he on about then?" :()

Id probably rate Chamberlain the highest of the three. From the times hes played he always seems to bring something to the table, his off he ball running is very good aswel for someone of his age. He seems pretty tough to keep an eye on when he gets going.

so in this order for me:

Chamberlain
Sterling
Zaha

Im looking forward to seing how Zaha gets on when he joins up with the squad.

I don't really rate Oxlade personally. Think he's just a brute, doesn't have the natural ability of Sterling. I think as he gets older, and he catches up with his body, he won't look as good. Good, yes, but not as special as he does now. In fact, some may argue that similar can be said of how Rooney's career has developed.

Tom Ince is another worth mentioning, seems to have great natural balance and ability.

 yes. Idiots would.

The OX will turn out all right. Not a world beater, but a good player.

They're definitely words; anymore than that I couldn't say.

He catches up with his body?

After watching a bit of young Winny I'm very very excited by him and really can't wait to see him make a few cameos here. It's very much a Fergie winger with plenty of tricks and pace. Looks like a certain fans favourite here and I look forward to seeing him put many full backs on their arses.

I didn't see feck all of Powell before we signed him. I've actually had a chance to see a few full games now with Zaha and he looks damn good.

Yeah I know, I was being intentionally contumelious.

I genuinely was excited about Nick Powell though, and disappointed to have seen so little of him this season. I just hope that Zaha can have a more immediate impact; because god knows we need it after the pathetic display of a season our senior wingers have unceremoniously shat out.

I'm not one to typically moan whilst sat top of the league, but Valencia, Young and Nani could all be taken to the Travellers yard and tubed into Pritt-Stick for all the difference it would make right now. The sooner Zaha arrives the better imo.

I thought I detected some sarcasm from your post but my Ciderman radar hasn't been calibrated in a while so I decided to go with a sincere answer. Hopefully we can sow up the title nice and early and the likes of Powell will be given a proper run with no pressure.

He's got a one game ban. Ffs, their next game is on TV and I was looking forward to watching him play.

Sticking up the middle finger. 1 game ban.
Dangerous career threatening "tackle". 0 game ban.

I don't like seeing players banned for something so trivial, the fans shouldn't abuse for 90 minutes and then be offended when they get a reaction.

It's very true. But in fairness to the Leeds fans, they'll not get to see a united player again for a long time.

Players get a 1 game ban for that.
Suarez did.. As did Ronaldo (that was the CL though)

Is it really harsh?

A one game ban for giving the opposition fans the middle seems fair to me. What would be an appropriate punishment if not this? Half a game ban?

Getting a one match ban for United would be incredible.

You could take a luxury seat in the ViP section and sip some wine as you get to watch the most storied club in World football play.

A one match ban for Palace would be torture. You'd actually have to sit there.. And watch Palace play football. Even more agonizing when you have a crisp United contract in your pocket.

Can't seem to remember people complaining about Suarez's one game ban for exactly the same thing against Fulham last season. It's a deserved ban, and a fitting fine.

Had the ref have seen it he'd have given him a red card, which would carry an automatic two game ban, so how can you call a retrospective single game ban a harsh punishment?

Would it be a red even if Ref had seen it ?
