Fans of Aberdeen might disagree with you there.Even Neil Warnock would get the side organized better defensively than him.

Add to that the £100m lost in earnings this year and it will have cost you £200mIf it results in an extra 80-100m in revenue to continue squad transformation, then yes.
The defenders are sitting deep anyhow, that’s why we have huge gaps between midfield and defense. Have you watched us play this season?
So.. who would that be in your opinion?Conte is much better than Southgate. But like Southgate, both play negative football. Hard pass!
We need to get modern best in class manager!
If he brings it to OT and reminds them what it looks likeIf Tuchel wins the CL, would you naysayers change your minds?
So.. who would that be in your opinion?
1) Impossible category Pep, Klopp, Arteta.
2) Next best but unlikely category Zidane, Alonso, Inzaghi, Luis Enrique, Nagelsmann.
3) Available category Tuchel
4) Risk category Amorim, McKenna, Potter
So I think the current bookies favourite Tuchel may be the one.
I know he's signed a new deal but Uni Emry .. Villa have been transformed by him, he knows the league maybe a big payout to get him .. but it's worth a try .. long long shot but who knows ..could be worth planting a doubt in his mind with a dodgy story Etc etc ... see where it goes..
Precisely. Look at Sancho last night. It’s Ten Hag’s job to get the best out of these assets. After watching Sancho against legitimate competition in a Champions league semifinal, don’t you have at least a tiny bit of a question mark as to whether Ten Hag handled that situation fairly? He was the one who fired the first shot in public causing the row.Think that's a bit of a myth. He relied on Casemiro and Varane and Erikson - not new broom purchases but short term Frankenstein fixes who are now next to useless. The problem isn't the spend, it's how it was spent. Good players become bad players in a Frankenstein squad. Look at Sancho last night.
I don't know if I need my 'mind changed' as it were because I'm not completely against him anyway. But I think if he came as the current CL winning manager that he'd command a lot of respectIf Tuchel wins the CL, would you naysayers change your minds?
I'd be careful what you wish for - Dortmund have been a pretty torrid watch in the Bundesliga this year and have misfired badly, they've looked a bit better recently after shipping a ton of goals in the first half of the season but thy're still more than 20 points off Leverkusen. They're european form is weirdly like a different team to their league form and it doesn't look like they'll be playing champions league football next year.Precisely. Look at Sancho last night. And here we are, in 6th, with a +1 GD, with two former squad members in Sancho and Sabitzer, playing for a “Frankenstein” squad of Dortmund, winning the first leg of a semifinal. How is it that Edin Tersic can unlock these players and have them play so well? Why does Tersic play a high line with Mats Hummels, possibly the slowest human alive, making Maguire look like Usain Bolt? That Dortmund team is full of retreads like Brandt, Fullkrug, Sabitzer, Can, etc, yet they play like a team. Ten hag couldn’t figure out how to use Sancho in 18 months, it took Terzic 2 months.
How anyone can look at Varane, who has won everything there is to win, is athletically so much more gifted than Hummels, and say he is useless… I mean, that’s a joke.
After watching that performance, I’d take Terzic in a heartbeat over Ten Hag. An absolute scotch tape side going toe-to-toe with a side full of stars at PSG. Almost won the Bundesliga last year too. feck me. And people want to give Ten Hag another year.

rumours going round that the plan is to keep ETH for a year. At which time a certain German manager that rhymes with Plopp will have had a year as a timeout away from football and nay be swayed
I've been thinking about this a lot, because, you know, the season is already over.
I think Ratcliffe et al. probably still has not decided whether to keep him. They know about the injuries but at the same time, our lack of cohesive play is not a good sign and we cannot keep the ball very well. I doubt they'd hire Southgate (who knows if he'd even give up the England job) or Potter. Then Nagelmann and Emery are gone. Zidane aint coming. so what's realistically left are De Zerbi, Frank, Tuchel, Amorim. I think the big decider will be that the remaining managers may not be attractive enough. Tuchel has been sacked 3 times now. De Zerbi's rep seems to be waning kind of like Postecoglu. And Amorim plays a 343 and i'm not sure Ratcliffe et al want that type of system. Ultimately I think they'll give ETH one more year and then make a change next year if things are still shit.
Sancho final hat trick incomingUnless the upset the applecart and win it
Terzic is probably Dortmund's tactically weakest manager since Klopp brought them back to the top.Precisely. Look at Sancho last night. It’s Ten Hag’s job to get the best out of these assets. They almost won the league last year though. Have you ever seen a Ten Hag team look as cohesive as Dortmund did yesterday? I haven’t. That side has been cobbled together. And they sold Bellingham and replaced with Sabitzer. In the meantime, we’ve spent 400m and look where we are…I'd be careful what you wish for - Dortmund have been a pretty torrid watch in the Bundesliga this year and have misfired badly, they've looked a bit better recently after shipping a ton of goals in the first half of the season but thy're still more than 20 points off Leverkusen. Thats a bold prediction. Iraola is seen as an interesting prospect but one year at Bournemouth is just not enough for him to land a big job like that.. Iraola, if he is still doing fine next year can be a serious contender for the Man City job, for example..It'll be Andoni Iraola.
ETH will leave "by mutual consent" after the FA Cup final.
Bayern gifted it to them on a golden plate and they still messed up last season. They almost won the league last year though. Have you ever seen a Ten Hag team look as cohesive as Dortmund did yesterday? I haven’t. That side has been cobbled together.
Didn’t it go: Tuchel, Bosz (fail), Favre (fail), Terzic (mediocre), Rose (fail), now Terzic (better than first stint IMHO)Terzic is probably Dortmund's tactically weakest manager since Klopp brought them back to the top.
Still all of your points are valid. That looks really bad for EtH.
With a bunch of castoffs and misfits. Sold Bellingham and replaced with Sabitzer. Given how good Bellingham was, it’s no mean feat to be in the semis and understandable they’ve fallen off in the league.Bayern gifted it to them on a golden plate and they still messed up last season.
This season they are even worse overall. But they succeeded at "building a team to finally win a match against Bayern". Which seems to be great for the CL as well.

Managers have to show they can do it for more than 1 season first. Even then, who knows, but countless managers have had a good first season impact in this league before falling down to nothing.Fortune favours the bold.
If the league started on Nov 1st, Bournemouth would be 5th.
I agree with you. But who do you think is good enough?Don't know why it's so difficult for some of you to simply accept we've hired managers who aren't good enough, instead of trying to look for other reasons to explain why they're so bad

Great. It's different in the Prem. Let's see if they fall off next year or if they continueHe did it for 3 years in Spain.
Surely you have to provide a source for this, unless it's a joke (it better be).rumours going round that the plan is to keep ETH for a year. At which time a certain German manager that rhymes with Plopp will have had a year as a timeout away from football and nay be swayed

I do think that all of them had better tactical ideas and generally better working system. Terzic is very single-minded in his view of football and is lucky whenever Dortmund plays against opposition where his ideas fit well (which means when Dortmund is the underdog). Which is the case most of the time in the CL, but whenever they have to be the dominant team (which is quite often the case in the league) they are just a very poor side and very deservedly sit in 5th place in the table.Didn’t it go: Tuchel, Bosz (fail), Favre (fail), Terzic (mediocre), Rose (fail), now Terzic (better than first stint IMHO)
Motta is supposedly going to JuveThiago Motta, him and Alonso are the best young managers in world football. Failing that Tuchel as a stop gap until Mckenna is ready.
Whilst I’d love to believe you, I hope you’re right. He’s absolutely got the best potential and PL experience in all names outside of the usual suspects. He’d be brilliant under a good structure.I heard from someone involved in Football in the NW that Andoni Iraola is a strong favourite.
He's viewed as one of the best young modern managers in Europe.
Nope, he’s shite. Can get his team to raise themselves for one off matches but can’t do it consistently in the league. How this Bayern team hasn’t walked the bundesliga is a jokeIf Tuchel wins the CL, would you naysayers change your minds?
