Wonder if the “elite football brains of RedCafe” will change their tune if they knew Southgate’s name was potentially coming from Ashworth?
Where can I see his comments today?

Said it before, I'll say it again. It's one journalist who made an easy headline. I've seen more links to De Zerbi than this guy.

Cracking play from United to leak this….if they have. All United fans will now United behind ETH to finish the season strong in the hope Southgate is nowhere near us next season or ever.
I feel like they are pretty much on a par with each other. Neither of them has won anything meaningful.Or... leak Southgate links so that Potter looks much better as an alternative.
Or... leak Southgate links so that Potter looks much better as an alternative. There definitely seems to be a British pride element among INEOS and new hires like Ashworth.
I can see us targeting British players over the next few windows.
They don't call him Brexit Jim for nothing.
Southgate is the poster boy of English football and in the eyes of his followers can do no wrong, the trouble is he hasnt got much right either!Turns out I actually back Ten Hag for life if the Southgate shite is true, that would be a staggeringly poor appointment.
But not a winning environment; winning seems to be less important to him than saying and doing the "right" things and not ruffling any feathers.Redcafe Day of Reckoning if Southgate comes here and wins the league.
Certainly he's impressed a few in the game with his player management over the years and creating a good environment.
It’s also gotta include if we keep playing like a team. That’s most important. We play like we did on Sunday we win most matchesIf we make the CL and/or win the FA Cup then ETH is staying imo. If we get neither, then he's off.

This one in specific is about Arse and Artetta:
Full podcast is on Spotify or Apple (Around the 31.30 min mark for United content).
I think ETH will get time, baring a major collapse this season. Ratcliffe answer about Arsenal and Arteta was very telling but I admit could also mean “give it to Southgate / Potter for 4 years”Seriously if this is ETH potential replacements then I ask what's the point?
The more I watch Inter Milan play, the more I find myself wanting Simone Inzaghi as a coach here. He's mastered the art of playing fluid, attractive football without relying heavily on star players. Impressively, he's transformed players like Darmian, Mkhitaryan, and Sanchez into the stars we once hoped they would be.
Smart tactically (though he went a bit conservative at the Metropolitano), leads the major European leagues in fewer goals conceded, and most scored. Has CBs bombing forward and has shown adaptability with a string budget.
There may be questions about his ability to adjust to the Premier League and life in England. However, in my opinion, his potential benefits outweigh the risks, making him a gamble worth taking
Don’t even joke about such things. *shudder*I would much rather have Moyes back.

Does he speak even English? I cant find an interview where he speaks anything other than Italian. It would be a major issue

Haha! Brilliant point. Maybe that was the case, on Sunday ETH told them if you can't win this, it's Southball for you next season!Cracking play from United to leak this….if they have. Yeah I feel like he's going to be 'institutionalised' by the national set-up which is so different to weekly management of a club, and our club in particular. I'd be very sceptical of him tbh.If that’s the plan it’s a good one because it’s working on me.
Southgate I guess could be a passable hire if the idea is just to bring in a manager for a year or two while we rebuild. I think he’s done a good job with England, but his club record is bad and tactically who knows if he even has a system really.
