As long as the Glazers are the majority owners of the club we won’t achieve anything important.
Great to read something positive! I need a bit of this. Feeling so fed up with this team at this point. It's coming. Only been a few weeks but we are noticeably far better coached and heading in the right direction. We're dominating games, we're moving it around well, spreading the pitch well, getting attackers in good areas and chances are falling to the right players.
Set pieces need a transformation, currently defensive ones are shit but the attacking ones have been decent. Individual quality needs to improve, can't make mistakes like some of the ones we've made, and then confidence and composure to not panic or lose your head after a mistake or a set back.
Importantly though we are clearly developing a good dominant style of play, and it's working. In the past we only really showed the positive signs in transition moments which we've always known is a strength, but not really something we can build onto being a dominant team. That's changing IMO
I really hope I'm wrong, but I don't think we are ever going back to being regular title challengers.
I’d like to see players calling each other out on the pitch more when they make an utterly stupid decision or mistake. If they can’t take it and learn from it they can go. This isn’t a kindergarten, we’re supposed to be a professional sports team where only the strongest minded survive. We’ve let it become a weak minded outfit with no repercussions. When we stop being selfish and learn to play as a team. Dalot in particular should be called out on his unforgivable decision to blast the ball over the bar from 30 yards instead of passing to teammates in good positions. Garnacho too needs to learn to be a team player.
If they’re not up to it they need to go ASAP.
When we get a decent goalkeeper! It's been more than 10 years now. When will this end?
This is probably the greatest load of shite I have ever seen. The obsession with so called “press resistant “ players is beyond a joke. We will be a decent side when we get rid of the abskluge crap footballers who are currently on the books. If you want to include Englands latest saint, the captain, Argentinas hope and the rest of them. Press resistant my bollocks. Get players in.When we stockpile press resistant players.
Get a grip for feck sakeTbf I'd happily go to the pre-ole era. We were bad, but we weren't the joke that we became under Ole and ETH. The damage the two if them did to the clubs standing might be irreversible.
Gave a failing manager a contract extension in the summer only to sack him 2 months late and costing the club £20m. Now they’re whacking up ticket prices.
There was a time we had Cavani, Greenwood, Rasghford, Bruno and pogba to score & create goals. Now we have players who won't make top half teams. Who signed off signing these players like Hojlund, Zirkzee and mount etc needs to be answerable

Nothing Arsenal did was particularly special. They got a good manager and signed some good players and now they are regular title challengersI really hope I'm wrong, but I don't think we are ever going back to being regular title challengers.
They also got rid of some big names which seemed controversial at the time but is now paying dividends. We have to get rid of Bruno and Rashford and allow better players to be bought. That will rejuvenate the club. You cant look at those players as your seniors and expect to be inspired.Nothing Arsenal did was particularly special. Absolutely no reason Amorim won't turn us into the same if he gets good players and is backed by competent upper management (which by all accounts INEOS is)
And a couple of billionsPatience. Look at Chelsea they were shit too and now they're back to challenging for titles. A couple of transfer windows will fix the problem.
Are they? Seems to me more like they had a respectable period of two years where they challenged for the title. Remains to be seen if they'll keep doing it though.Nothing Arsenal did was particularly special. They got a good manager and signed some good players and now they are regular title challengers

You have nothing to worry about.I really hope I'm wrong, but I don't think we are ever going back to being regular title challengers.
In the Championship maybe. You have nothing to worry about.
It is inevitable that a club the size of Utd will be title challengers again.
How do you think supporters of other clubs that have won feck all feel? It's been more than 10 years now. When will this end?
Agree. I would look to the young players to get game time as well. Basically RA could use this season to try a youth player a game and hopefully can find a gem or two along with the new recruits in the summer. It's all about recruitment.
If we assume we've hired the correct CEO, sporting director etc, and we now have the right coach in Amorim, then next we obviously need to recruit the right players.
So many of the players we've signed have been utter trash. We buy lower to midtable quality players for world class prices
