What would be an acceptable offer for Pogba?

Depends what team he actually goes to. He's probably in the top 5 most marketable players in the world (which he has us to thank for) so he's worth at least £150-£175 million in my opinion.

  • Real Madrid: Bale or Casemiro plus £50 million
  • Barca: Can't see them willing to part with that sort of cash and beyond their staring XI there's nobody we need
  • PSG: Straight swap for Mbappe
  • Juve: Dybala straight swap or Chiellini plus £80 million

This is what I would like to see when he soon goes to one of those teams. Most likely destinition in my opinion is Real Madrid who will want to replace an aging Modric sooner rather than later.
That would be a terrible deal. Less money then we paid & an ageing player on a huge contract having to adapt to a new much quicker league than he's used to. No thanks.

This post is straight out of lala land. The most outlandindish is a straight swap for Mbappe! Pure fantasy.

There's some serious bollox being chatted on these pages. My word.

Ask City how much they want for KDB, or Bayern for Alaba or Real for Varane. A serious club doesn't sell its most talented players...period. We don't need the money.

People have confused his agent's bargaining tactics with Pogba wanting to leave.

Raiola most certainly knows the terms of Sanchez contract since Mkhitaryan was being swapped, and at the same time he was offering Pogba to Man City. Does anyone think that Raiola is such an idiot to think we would actually sell to Man City?

No he was assessing how much Pogba can get on the market so he can either get a bumper new contract or force a move if United do not meet his demands in the next few years.

Pogba would fetch £150m easily. Remember , clubs are buying the brand as a whole and not just the player. It's a thing in todays world.

Let me get this straight. You are suggesting clubs would be willing to over pay £100million more than he is worth because he changes his hairstyle and dabs? Football is completely passing me by!

Yeah I completely agree with you . Don't let facts get in your way while making a point . Its not like Pogba was a vital cog in a world cup winning team or an important player for a team which came 2nd in the league . The guy doesn't play football he only dances in the middle of the field and changes hairstyles . In a footballing world where non proven players like Dembele are worth over 120 million pounds then Pogba is easily worth 150 million pounds . He is a stand out midfielder along with a good social media presence which helps with the marketing and merchandise sales of the teams employing his services .

An acceptable offer for Pogba would be £10bn. Very acceptable:lol: The minimum acceptable is another matter and only the board know that.

Shows you know nothing about Pogba or doesn't watch him at all. If you think £50m is the fair price for Pogba , then football has passed by you long time ago. Sigurdsson is a 50m player ffs.

Basically what we paid for him, £90m. He's not been a resounding success but there has been further inflation in fees since we signed him. I was genuinely excited at the prospect of him coming back as I never wanted him to leave. Turns out Fergie was right and I was wrong, who'd have thought...

I could see PSG coming for Pogba desperately if they fail to do anything good in this year's CL. We should just milk them as close to £200m and reinvest.

He has a good social media presence! Maybe we should look to pair him in midfield with Kim Kardashian, I think her social media presence would really compliment him and would certainly increase his number of Instagram followers which could only be good news for which ever club he plays for. While we're at it how about Justin Bieber to play right wing?

No, the transfermarket have changed a lot, a lot. A midfielder of Pogba's quality going for just 90m does not feel right at all. It sounds so good for the buying club.
Just imagine going to Juventus now to buy the Juventus Pogba in this inflated transfermarket, he'd cost an arm and two legs.

But we don’t have the Juventus Pogba. We have the Utd Pogba - and they are really quite different.

Well considering the abnormal sums they paid for Neymar and Mbappe they are more than welcome to have him for 200m£. As much as I like Pogba it would be foolish not to accept a bid in that region considering he most likely won't be here by next season anyway.

Fergie tried desperately to keep him.

We know we have the United Pogba but we will be selling the World Cup final Pogba £150m

That myth will never die, apparently. Even some United fans believe Fergie wanted rid of him.

It's mind numbing the amount of reds who regurgitate this revionist history in about Fergie with Pogba. He hated his agent, not the the lad

Fergie wanted to get rid of him so much that he tasked Evra and Rio to try to convince him to stay

200m

But if they offer anything lower, will raise it up to 300m immediately

Fergie tried desperately to keep him.

Didn't try all that desperately. If he'd have made an effort to get to know him, he'd have known the lad wanted minutes and he would have played him rather than playing Rafael & Park in that infamous game in addition to all the other games he didn't pick him for. Do you not think it was weird how he was match ready for Juve the minute he arrived but, wasn't ready for league cup games and dead rubbers for us?

If you believe the rumours, which is all any of us have to go off, Fergie indicated he was relieved to be rid of Raiola and was content to take the loss of Pogba if he could rid himself of the greedy, obnoxious pizza selling cnut.

Having said that, I personally think Pogba is a one in a generation level player in the right team, I just don't think he suits us, or us him. If we could get our money back at this point, I'd happily take it.

I seriously hope we do not allow Pogba's disruptive behaviour facilitate some cheap move by Barca. It's a cliche I know, but I'd honestly rather see him in the reserves than going to Barca for what we paid or little more than that.

if do have to sell him I hope we try and get someone decent in return from Barca or PSG

trouble is all this nonsense is driving the price down

That's probably by design. Maybe this is BS, but I read somewhere that Raiola had some planned trajectory for Pogba to come to United and then Real/Barca. Anyhow, if he wants a move he can be professional about it or he can be what he's been like. I'd also prefer to get part-exchanges involved, but which class player at Barca is going to want to leave for United at this moment in time?

I'm not even sure Dembele is that good, but surely he's worth maybe half the price of Pogba, if that. They won't want to lose face either, having spent such crazy money on him.
