What next for Mourinho?

You would think since he’s all about creating his legacy he’d want to go somewhere he thinks he can win the champions league with so probably why he’d turn down the likes of Benfica if true. Sure if he waits long enough eventually his time at United and Chelsea will be mostly forgotten and someone will go for him. However genuinely think post Fergie he’s been the worst appointment.

His ego is way too big to rush into a job that isn't of the top table. He'll bide his time and wait for that carousel to come around again with an empty seat next to a desperate chairman.

There’s a certain 27 year old CB playing for PL leader, he should take a look, preferably seal the deal this window :wenger:

Fully agree.
I had hoped that Manchester United supporters would have a bit more class than to continually insult a former manager.

He has the dignity to keep his mouth shut about his time at United, unlike many of our supporters.
As I have mentioned before, he is the past.
We should focus on the future with Ole having made a promising start.
We still have the top four, CL and FA Cup to win.

The extent of 'hate' towards Jose is shocking, to say the least. I get those who don't like him and express it in the most reasonable manner. That's very fair. Jose probably deserves a lot of criticisms and is not your most likeable characters one might rightly argue. But to constantly spew out abuses on him and blame him for every problem of the club is ridiculous, really. No matter what people say, he was our manager and we shared a few joys with him. Another thing that is baffling is how some people think you cannot love and support this club when you defend Jose on any issue. At times I am tempted to ask, how old are you and when did you watch your first United game? But I guess that doesn't matter, does it? Like you said, we are in good times, winning, cutting the gap to the top four, with the players in good spirits. We still have a lot to play for and no one can comfortably bet against us right now. Let's enjoy the exciting ride.
I fully support the abuse he gets. Never liked him before and he proved me right. It's like the wrong man for the wrong woman ending in a bad divorce because the woman kept asking for more money and praising the bigger car of the man next door and how he has a bigger house and telling her husband he is crap in bed. All the while claiming he was nothing before she took him (heritage). Then the leech keeps asking for more and more money and stops putting out all together or giving lazy performances in the sack before the inevitable divorce. The only good part was the wedding day and 1st night. Tell me, how would you feel?

Its called a gag order settlement, where he refrains from talking about us for a certain period via the terms of his pay off. Dont act like this is a man of class who rises above pettiness.

I reckon if PSG don't progress to at least semi finals of the CL, they'll Tuchel and I think they will be all over Jose. Plus that's a good move for Jose as he will win all domestic trophies which will mean his CV has every trophy in England, Portugal, Spain, Italy and then potentially France. Then it wouldn't surprise if at some point he ends up at Bayern and wins the German domestic trophies.
Bayern will never go for Mourinho, they are a club with proud and values. I was shocked when we appointed him as we're a club with values and proud like Barcelona and Bayern.

PSG, I doubt they'd go for him as he's the exact opposite of the football they want to sell to the fans to grow their brand. And if they want someone who can bring them a CL trophy, Mourinho is not manager who guarantee that as proven his experiences with his last 3 clubs.

Didn't he said he would never want to manage in an easy league? At the same time he contradicted himself several times in the past that everything is feasible with him.

So he has s**t talked about Chelsea and Real after he left them?

Wow! What an illustration.

I happen not to take football that seriously as much as I have loved the game for about 40 years. I honestly can't think of a footballer, manager, referee, or club owner that I deeply or passionately dislike. Maybe that's why the extent of hate I at times see directed at Jose here baffles me.

But hey, we are all different and one can understand the passion fans feel. That's what makes the game as much fun as it is.

You already have very fixed views which I do not share so I don't think you really care how I feel.

You know the details of the settlement then?
I wonder how.

Any link between Mourinho and Madrid is surely click-bait or planted by Mendes to try and recover some of his shattered credibility.

Madrid are investing heavily in young and Spanish players. Near impossible to imagine they're then going to then get in Mourinho to develop them... Not even mentioning his bitter exit last time. Looks to me like they're goint to go for Poch in the summer and make a couple of big signings as well.

"The world is currently undergoing nuclear winter. Most of the population is wiped out, the very air is tainted with the pervasive toxin of radiation and merely mustering the will to live is a great struggle...

Meanwhile, Mourinho still wants a Center-Back".

:lol::lol:

Reports saying Jose gave his first interview after United and said he believes in showing respect to ex clubs and players by not publicly discussing negatives after he leaves (sorry I was not patient enough to find a more credible source: https://metro.co.uk/2019/01/10/jose...l-8330446/?ito=article.desktop.share.top.link)

This is something I respect a lot. People forget that at the end, football is a sport. You may have all the hot emotional moments while in the thick of battles etc. You may have many disagreements (and Jose has far more than most.) but when it's over, it should be over.

Similar to what I read today about RVN saying how he regretted having a spat with SAF and leaving but making efforts to reach out to the big man after leaving the club. That earned my respect.

The thing with Jose is that you can't really believe him 100%. Today, he might think that he does not want to say anything about us. But tomorrow when things go bad and media keeps bringing up his failures at United, he might snap and criticize lot of things that were wrong with the club.

This 100%.

He has proven this many times throughout his career, the man will no doubt have a few sly jabs at us by the time he retires.

Plus he was so disrespectful towards Utd when manager, constantly making digs at the club and our history, I find it hard to believe that since being sacked he's just randomly had a change of heart and is now being humble and respectful.

He'll have signed something that means he can't say anything about Utd.
