What has actually happened to Joe Hart?

In that gif he's so far out when the ball drops it's like he's decided to come for it as soon as it was hit.

Looking at it again, nastasic simply had to do something about situation. The ball was too close to him and too far away from Hart, for him to wait for hart to come and get it, especially given Torres was right behind him. So even if hart shouted he was wrong, completely wrong. Also, it's hardly as if hart could have caught it either.

Absolutely rubbish goalkeeping.

They will sign a new keeper in January.

Who's available that they can realistically go for, mate?

Of the top youngsters out there, Chelsea won't sell Courtois to them, De Gea won't join them and Stegen is Barcelona-bound in all likelihood.

I bet they'll end up with Begovic, but he could shit the course at a big club under that much scrutiny.

Seriously though, Hart is 100% at fault there. I don't think he'd reach the ball anyway even if Nastasic leaves it, so Torres would roll it around him and into an empty net. There's just absolutely no reason for him to come charging out for that.

He doesn't even charge out convincingly! He stops halfway, making it even more of a stupid decision.

Hart totally to blame. There is absolutely no reason for him to charge like a moron in that scenario.

If he had stayed where he was suppose to, that backpass from Nastasic would've been an easy clearance for him.

It was him trying to be a super hero saving a tough situation only it could have been dealt with easily by Nastasic. Stupid Joe Hart

Was always overhyped now we are seeing the real level of Hart!

Think he referred to the 18 yard box as "D", not the area between the semi circle drawn with the penalty spot as circle and the box.

So he was referring to something that's not a D shape as the "the D", and not the pitch-marking commonly known as "the D" that is actually D shaped? I think he just got it wrong.

Terrible decision, what was he thinking? Not only does he have no chance of getting to the ball himself, he also skewers his own defender, who now has no option to either take the ball away himself or pass it back to his keeper. Completely avoidable.

It's a little known rule that 'keepers are allowed to handle the ball in the opposition's box too.

To be fair, you have to give him credit, he does a full job: piss poor decision making but makes sure to take Nastasic out so the defender can't even try to follow Torres' run!

I won't be buying head and shoulders again, that's the real tragedy of the demise of Hart.

A keeper can only handle the ball inside the 18 yard box and the corner flag right angles.

He can handle the ball if inside the confines of the center-spot as well, providing he's on a unicycle, blindfolded and with a team of monkeys throwing knives at him.

No, they can't handle it anywhere outside of the 18 yard box. The D isn't included in that.

No they can't! The "D" is literally just to mark out how far players have to be during a penalty.

 What the feck are you thinking more like? You can't hold the ball in the D.

Christ, is this a serious post?

Jesus, am referring to the rectangular box only, not the semi circle outside it. Its called the D very commonly around here. Wasnt being literal. Hart wasnt even near the semi circle at the time.

 what on earth was he on, the defender would have headed that back to him no problem.

He can also handle it at anytime on the 2nd Friday of the month and at nights between the hours of 2am-5am.
