In the latest episode of the United Hour Podcast, Nik (@Rood) and Imran (@Annihilate Now!) are here to discuss three 1-1 draws.
The first got us knocked out of the FA Cup, the next puts us in a good position in our Round of 16 Europa League game, and the latest was an actual decent performance against Arsenal at Old Trafford.
All hopes for the season now rest on the Europa League - does Amorim have the squad to win it?

I firmly believe that she and this Tory government will fall flat on its arse this time. The apathetic "politics is so bonkers that people check out" strategy only works when people are being brutally shafted. If folk are tipping on the precipice of shite then it works because they find solitude in reality TV and news articles about the top ten best ways to wipe your arse. But when they're living in the modern standards of poverty despite being working or even middle fecking class like they start to ask questions.

If Truss is really going to do what she said, then it would be (politically) in Labours interest to keep her in power as long as possible up to the next GE and keep her feet to the fire. She is the least popular amongst Tory MPs, so there is every chance of another internal Tory election before the GE, and if so, Starmer cannot rely on the Tories making the same mistake a third time.
Of course, if the electorate is going to 'get it in the neck' with energy costs and inflation, then it is possible that Liz might do a super-woman intervention and bail us all out... she then gets in for the next ten years!!

It's the new, Johnson-fied name for what used to be called the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government. In 2018 under Theresa May they chucked housing under the same banner and the department was renamed the Department for Housing, Communities and Local Government. Then last year Johnson renamed it again to "Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities" to fit the Tory slogan, thus the current ludicrous title.

I dunno, but the story linked above about the levelling up fund only allocating c£107m of its £4.8bn budget tallies.
The Tel is also bashing one of Johnson's flagship policies, even if they are trying to hurt Gove with it.
