Westminster Politics

it’s amazing how many of you don’t seem to realise that as soon as the forens are all on rowanda then we will all have a grand a month more money in are pockets to spend at the pub and are penises will grow 3 inches. we can go back to how the country was during the wars and blitz spirit.

And with one bound...Sunak is off the hook, ......blessings be upon President Paul Kagame from the Tory faithful

Sunak is far too stubborn to even think about doing that. Even though it would be a more sensible thing to do than risk his future on his Rwanda policy, which is never going to work.

True, but you could almost think he set it up, Sunak phoned the Rwanda President and said.. "look if you are asked a question on this at Stavros, just say you will give the money back, if no one turns up"

....fact is stranger than fiction

The president of Rwanda offers to pay the money back if no one is sent to his country.

Quick before he changes his mind. Grab the money we have spent and look for another option.
That's a win for the public and loss for Sunak really. It's an admission that it was never going to work but what then? His entire platform for votes this year was stopping boats with Rwanda, all eggs were in that basket, and it's not happening.

Yeah that's truly a heartbreaking read. We taught ours the usual emergency situation routines but at 2 years old there's only so much you can get them to do.

That's really awful. It looks like the social worker was doing what they could but couldn't get the kind of help they needed to take action quickly enough.

The question of people living alone or with someone utterly dependant on them (whether with a young child or a seriously disabled adult, which was my situation for several years) is something I've been thinking about for over a decade.

Because of my background, I've been looking at it mostly from the technology side. But even if we perfect the technology and make it available to whoever wants it - it will still rely on a human with the right authority to actually do anything with the warnings it might create.

If the British can flout international law, then so can the Houthis. I mean, fair do's innit?

Not only are they despicable people, pathological liars and selfish thickos, they are also pathetic cowards.

yeah but imagine the state of the country if labour and corbyn is elected this year. the only safe vote is a conservative one.

He really is dangerously stupid, glad he’s no longer a thing in UK politics.

Completely agree with you.
If Corbyn was still the leader of the labour party. It would be the Tories who would have called and won the latest GE and been in power for another 5 years.
That is the reality of Corbyn as party leader.
