Karan. I admire the optimism but sometimes you just have to accept the truth and the truth is....Gibson is yet with us! ;)

Sack fergie. Bring in the special one and he will change his mind. Simples

:lol::lol:

So, Inter are going down the ol' 'How dare anyone suggest we intended selling our beloved player! Those 500 meetings we had with other clubs were just...um...poker nights. Yes, that's it, honest...' road. How predictable.

It's hardly about optimism. I'm fine if the club doesn't sign any player. But the fact is I find it really irritating that You, Devilish etc. also seem to bring out "there is no value in the market" jokes whenever there is a negative report on the transfers. The joke is pathetic, embarrassing and frankly has been used countless times since the last two years.

I seriously don't know why this value approach is being mocked by some of the members here as it has served quite well.

That's exactly what it is. A joke!

To be honest I still expect us to get Sneijder but I'm prepared for the worst.

Can you really see us starting the season with Carrick, Anderson, a half fecked Fletch and 38 year old Ryan Giggs as our central midfield options? We'll sign someone, whether Sneijder or not

There's hope.

And there we have it. Inter supremo says 'definitely not for sale' .. in the same breath, he says 'if a big offer comes we'll see'. That is his job. To drive the price up. Saying 'for sale' hands power over to the buyer.

Now for a big offer.

Don't forget Gibson.

Anyway so all the stories about us having made an official bid are bollocks then?
Or is he just not telling the media?

Gibson, Young, Cleverly, we may even start to bring through Pogba and Morrison.

There was a fecking reason that Gibson was left home and didn't went to US tour.

Gibson i have said, Young will be on the wings and Cleverly certainly will be played on the wings than in central midfield. Pogba and Morrison will be at most involved in Carling cup games

I ve just watched part of the interview, and in no instance I heard Branca (who is not the Inter supremo but the technical director) saying " We ll see".

However, he was forced to commit himself on Sneijder and was asked specifically to say that Sneijder is definitely not for sale (incedibile). Then he turned his face down (so no one could look at him in the eyes) and repeated "incedibile".

My impression is that the body language was not exactly aligned with what he was saying.

As a side note, when watching the interview you can notice the difference between the real thing and what and how the journalist report it.

In SAF, you lot, will just have to trust!!

What a bunch of numpties.

If he is serious about buying him, then the offer will follow. Seems we haven't even done that yet.
