Wesley Sneijder

If we don't sign him: I hope this thread is not going to be full of people getting more pleasure out of being right than they would have felt if we had signed him. After all, a Sneijder signing is against the odds, what with his wages, his worth to Inter, his happiness in Milan, the British weather etc etc. So if we don't get him, it'd hardly be a surprise, and people acting like they were in the know/less gullible than others would be as silly as they assume us 'transfer muppets' are.

That would be me. I said all the way back in June we would not get any of the big targets.

Ha Ha

So has it now categorically been stated that inter will not sell Sneijder?

Everything has been said from he's leaving to he's not leaving, constantly.

Nothing is for definite until the window is closed.

To Randall & The Twigg: you heartless fiends!
*shakes puny fist*

:D

Wasn't it said that this is a transfer thread and not to be spammed with general chat?

I've a good mind to just delete the last 53 posts

Or lock it and start a new Wesley Sneijder thread?

Or lock it and start a new Wesley Sneijder thread?

It'll end up the same way to be honest.

It's annoying because it's hard to know in the slightest what's going on with the actual (potential) transfer when all people are doing is spamming their way to 10k posts or whatever.

I ignore Sky, I don't believe what Fergie and Inter say, so this is all still very mind numbing.

Many on twitter are...

...that he is coming and a bid has been accepted.

In truth however, whether some of these people are credible or not, we'll never know.

moratti described anzhi offer for eto as 'intelligent'...
Initially italian papers were mentioning a 40m euro offer to inter. the real offer made to inter was 22m euro and a further 20m euro was offered to eto....perhaps that's why moratti labelled the offer as 'intelligent'.
Imo if eto moves for anything less than 25m euro, inter will still sell sneijder...

'Chuck' Season 5: 'Smallville's' Justin Hartley and 'Lost's' Jeff Fahey to guest star as brothers - From Inside the Box - Zap2it

""Chuck" has always been a magnet for guest stars with serious geek cred, and its fifth and final season is certainly no exception. "Smallville" actor Justin Hartley tweeted on Tuesday that he's having a great time on set, and Zap2it has confirmed that he will be guest starring in the second episode of the season alongside Jeff Fahey, who starred on "Lost" as pilot Frank Lapidus.

Fahey plays Karl Sneijder, who, as the boss of a diamond company with mines in South Africa, has been investigated by the CIA in the past for alleged criminal activity. They've never been able to pin anything on him.

Hartley will star as Wesley Sneijder, Karl's handsome younger brother. A Dartmouth and Oxford-educated anthropologist, Wesley has always done his best to stay out of his brother's business, wanting nothing to do with the "world of espionage and spies."

Of course... he isn't given much choice when Karl's enemies kidnap him. Karl will be forced to seek out Carmichael Industries for help.

Don't miss the "Chuck" Season 5 premiere on Friday, Oct. 21, at 8 p.m. EST on NBC. Hartley and Fahey's episode will air the following week. "

 A sign

First round of talks between Sneijder officials and #MUFC failed to reach agreement on personal terms. More talks planned.

McGarry is just setting himself for an excuse incase he doesn't sign. He's a total bullshitter.

@TransferScoop Inter know there are a lot of obstacles to overcome. Cant sell Eto'o + Sneijder on same day. V Bad fan PR. Hence statement.

If he is desperate to come and Inter are desperate to sell him I say offer £25m tops. We don't need him that badly.

How long you expect him to stay?

What a nothing day  And people got so excited yesterday evening.

So yesterday's accepted offer was all bollocks
