I guess nothing's going to happen tonight. BBC just did all this for the hits.

I think we'll see something more concrete tomorrow either way. I doubt Sir Alex would want to be negotiating over the weekend and distract away from the match against West Brom. I think things could be nearing a conclusion, one way or another.
Maybe now Obertans gone we've sold enough players to free up enough wages
I think we'll sign him. Probably 2morrow! Looks a class player. Cleverley will still get lots of games.
Lots of people here think that this is bad for Cleverley. I look at it like it points another way forward for Cleverley. Cleverley having already modelled his game on Xavi and Ineiesta gets a closer look at Sneijder.
Manchester United move Wesley Sneijder to be thrashed out next 48 hours with star set seek Inter Milan permission to talk terms - Transfer News - MirrorFootball.co.ukSneijder deal set to be sorted out in next two days
Wesley Sneijder will thrash out his future over the next 48 hours, after his move to Manchester United took a major step closer on Tuesday.
The Dutch winger was hoping to hold formal talks with the Premier League club in London on Thursday, following his country’s friendly international with England at Wembley.
But the riot-induced postponement of the fixture has moved that process forward, and now the 27-year-old will speak with his club, Inter Milan, on Wednesday to seek permission to begin negotiations in earnest.
Sneijder hinted this week that informal talks have already begun over the transfer, with the two clubs close to arriving at a fee somewhere in the region of £32million.
His representatives will be in Milan on Wednesday, hoping to speed up the process, which would allow the player to fly into England to thrash out the terms of a near £200,000 a week contract.
Inter now accept Sneijder wants to leave, and they are also close to finding an accommodation with United - the two clubs have explored a possible price over the past few weeks through a third party.
The Dutch star has a tax-free deal in Italy equating to around £250,000 a week, so with United’s wage structure topping out at around £180,000 a week there is still some way to go.
The Old Trafford club, though, have sweeteners to add to any deal.
Their worldwide popularity greatly enhances the image rights-related package they can offer to prospective signings.
Sneijder also has a personal sponsorship deal with Nike - who are United’s main clothing sponsor - and there are suggestions the US sportswear giants could also enhance the deal to ensure the arrival of one of their big-name players at their biggest club.

Deceptively quick, isn't he?
Deceptively quick, isn't he?
Young? If he does show, I know who gets my vote for taking free kicks .
Young?
I honestly don't think we'll be signing Sneijder. Hope I'm wrong, but just don't see it happening.
Veron couldn't get a free kick over Beckham, sadly for Young I don't think Sneijder would be too willing to pass them on.
depending on the situation young also has nani and rooney to go through first, i reckon it would be nani, sneijder and rooney for direct fk's and young to whip ones in from an angle, they could interchange on corners, id like to see sneijder hanging around outside the box for 2nd phase bits n bobs as young can whip em in, of course thats all IF he comes.

He's from India, he's probably sleeping. 5.10am now. We should expect him in one hour, though. A solid muppet night it is, he can't miss the news we signed him. But it's quite weird... something's happening and no wr8 here. Sad.wr8_utd hasn't posted in this page yet.. I'm starting to get worried about him..
EDIT: Oh my!! He hasn't posted in the previous page either!!
Oh wr8_utd!!
Following the weekend I think Young showed he should be first in line (at the moment). The first free kick he took we scored from

Don't we ever give in?!Daily Mirror with their third claim that Sneijder is coming to United! Don't they ever give in?!
Its really slow now. England needs to wake up. We need more news on Sneidjer.
