Weird feelings of football

Zabaleta's bald head gets shinier every time I look at it.

Dybala has never scored from inside the box

Ramos has only ever scored headers

Martin Atkinson always gets to referee Chelsea's big games at Stamford Bridge and gives them always a huge advantage and seems to be a pro-Chelsea-lad.

Cleverley is a thug stealing for a living

Lukaku has been 23 years old for 200 years now

Sheffield United, Bolton, and Doncaster always lose when I bet on them

Buffon and Casillas have been playing for 800 years now

Wenger can never acknowledge that his team lost to a better team. There is always a excuse from him

Oxlade Chamberlain always gets injured when he is starting a game

Two opposite feelings about the same player:

David Alaba is still 22.
David Alaba is at least 27.

You can always tell within the first twenty minutes whether or not United will drop points in a match.

This is so true, for me right now if we don't score with our first couple of decent chances in the league I know for a fact we won't win despite the clock showing more than half the game left. So frustrating.

If Owen Hargreaves never broke down, we'd have one more European Cup than we do right now.

There's always one team in the Championship that by their size feel like they should be two divisions lower down. Crewe occupied this spot for years, Burton Albion have it now.

Despite the trophies, Manchester is not a natural footballing city. But when people say "Norwich" or "Darlington", people automatically think of their football teams.

Beckham had 1000 assists and still holds the record
Teams in the prem have a hatred for creative technical players.
Managers experiment and find solutions through experimentation rather than having a clear plan.
Ben Arfa is still a young talent with lots of potential
Ever since Carlos Queiroz left, we've played poor football.

I forgot which thread I was in for a second, and thought "bloody hell that's good."

I doubt it. Even with him at his best and Fletch too we'd have still lost in 2009 and 2011.

Only one you could maybe point too would've been the Bayern game in 2010 and whether we'd have gone through and gotten to the final against Inter.

Seriously, I'd like to know when was the last time he saved one. Off the top of my head I can only think of the 8-2 against Arsenal in 2011.
Lukaku in the semi final at wembley. Not an important one or anything

And that's why it's a weird feeling.

They equalised later anyway. No need to roll your eyes just because I couldn't remember something that happened 10 months ago.

The only other one was vs Baines in LVGs first season where he had one of his best ever games for us. Actually seems as though there is a pattern developing with his saves, all left footed takers and to De Gea's right. I agree with your overall notion though, it's not one of the stronger parts of his game

So true!

Germany can't win their second group stage match in the World Cup.
France will never win a major tournament again.
England used to be known as a quarter-final team but it's pathetic how they can't even qualify out of their group or make it past the round of 16 for the past couples of World Cups and Euros.
Italy always get drawn against an elite international team in their qualifying round but always finish 2nd.
Portugal always finish 2nd in their qualifying round.

Ander Herrera Sergio Ramos are the same person that always pretends to be the one not currently on a red.

Realised watching Leicester today, but Christian Fuchs, Gareth Southgate and Ryan Reynolds are all the same person.

  • Roy Keane hasn't made a positive comment about United since he left and hates everyone currently associated with the club.
  • Phil Neville was technically better than Gary as he could play CM
  • Solskjaer was the best crosser we have had bar Beckham. Van Nistelrooy the 3rd
  • Rashford will become the next Bellion if he stays out wide.
  • we haven't had a consistently class RB since Gary Neville.
  • After Irwin, we transition straight to Evra. No Lb in between.
  • Ashley Cole was the only decent Lb in Arsenal history.
  • Ashley Cole was the only decent Lb in England History
  • England have NEVER had a natural left winger

You'll never find all 3 of the North East's biggest teams (Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Newcastle) in the same league at the same time. Newcastle go up, Sunderland and Middlesbrough go down and so on and so on.

  • Alan Shearer has never placed a shot in his life.
  • Ian Wright was just a goal poacher. (not true though)
  • If Ian Wright played now and was foreign, he'd be regarded as an international superstar. He was also better than Kane
  • If Andy Cole was Italian, he would've looked great on Gazetta football Italia.
  • Edmundo has only played in Brazil,
  • Nigeria haven't produced a talented player since the 90's
  • Brazil haven't been a force in the World Cup for years, yet are still considered favourites every tournament.
  • In the 90's, United and Arsenal were tough and combative. Now we are both flimsy. Our 90's teams would destroy our current ones, despite both clubs being far wealthier.
  • Most of the best British managers were from outside England.
  • French wingers are always described as mercurial
  • Giroud is the 1st French targetman

- Man United always beat Real Madrid and Barcelona in friendlies but lose competitive matches.
- Louis Van Gaal, Dick Advocaat and Guus Hiddink take it in turns to coach The Netherlands on a rotational basis.
- It never rains when Arsenal play at home.

2008/09.

-Last gameweek was the first time Arsenal had ever played on a Sunday.

-At one stage, there were supposed to be Friday night games in the PL

-United have never been knocked out of the Champions League knock-out stage fairly

-United always struggle at Villa Park

-La Liga has no relegation system. It's always the same 20 teams playing every season.

-Sunderland play all 38 league games at home.

-Crytal Palace only play 4 games a season, United home and away, Liverpool at Anfield and City at Selhurst. The other 34 games are simulated.

-Spanish clubs play "ultra" spanish when they play English sides.

-Pretty sure this has been said and there must be some truth to this but refs decide how many minutes of stoppage time will be played depending on how close the game is at 90 mins. If there is one goal in it, they will never play less than 4 minutes.

-First half stoppage time may not be longer than 1 minute, unless there was an expetionally long stoppage. Then they may only play up to 3 minutes.

-More of a recent one but if we create a good chance early in the game and don't score, it's guranteed to be "one of those" games.

Are you talking about a different United? Don't we have a great record at Villa Park?
