I'm sticking with my belief that under new management we'd have a new team even if it's the same players.
Ditto.I'm sticking with my belief that under new management we'd have a new team even if it's the same players.
I think they have shown something tonight, but why didn't we go for that away goal at Anfield? The manager has a lot to answer for regarding the form of his players.Ditto.
We've heard this far too many times regarding our players. When you have a manager who is eager to play players out of position and set them up badly you can't expect them to be world beaters. Under a better manager I think some of our players would flourish. Under lvg there're just shackled from playing

Totally. But I'm glad I'm not the only one who couldn't make sense of how we were supposed to be playingI think they have shown something tonight, but why didn't we go for that away goal at Anfield? The manager has a lot to answer for regarding the form of his players.
I've not been able to make sense of it all season, doubt the players have either.Totally. But I'm glad I'm not the only one who couldn't make sense of how we were supposed to be playing
Exactly. He seems to have a gift at taking creative players and beating it out of them. Just look at di Maria last season or mata and Herrera this season.Every time I hear this argument I can't help but look at Leicester. LVG has ruined most of these players, they're playing at their lowest level.
Varela will disappear now. He choses them, but a really bad performance they are done.Exactly. He seems to have a gift at taking creative players and beating it out of them. Just look at di Maria last season or mata and Herrera this season.
The only players who have really done well are the kids who have come in and haven't been beaten by his philosophy stick!
As the camera pans across our players lining up....doesn't it just look like a team that belongs in the Europa?

Yes, he's a shocker, I agree, but too many of the players are bang average.An incompetent an outdated manager is the biggest problem.
Yeah lots of average players.
But so do Liverpool and they look better than us. A manager makes all the difference.
You can't expect this lot to be world beaters, end of.Ditto.

I find it hard to agree - Coutinho, Lallana, Origi, Can are players who seem to be better than our equivalents to me.
Yep - we used to measure ourselves against Barca, Real and Bayern. Look at us now.You can't expect this lot to be world beaters, end of.
Keep---> Dave,Rashford,Martial,Schweinsteiger, Lingard,Blind
Sell--> Mata,Varela,Felliani, Rojo

Another example of why I refuse - yet - to blame the players for this whole fiasco. di Maria came with a reputation, left with less of one, and now he's shining again.I sort of agree. Lingard, Rojo, Fellaini, Blind, Bastian, Valencia, Rashford, Varela are either not good enough or too raw to be starting this level.
Weve been so average tonight in a gung ho performance. If youre going to have a number of average players in your squad, you need one or two top class players. Think di Maria staying could have made the difference.
That's in a (coco) nutshell.Varela
Blind
Darmian
Lingard
Fellaini
Schneiderlin
The reason we're 9 points clear of Bournemouth after 30 games is because thats the skill set of the bulk of our first team. We're just a truly average side and blaming the players is justifiable at times like last week when they couldn't be arsed but overall most can't play better than they currently are. Buy mid table, add some talent, and you'll finish about 7th.
Why are we surprised.

It's LVG.
I am not sure there is a single manager out there who doesn't play players out of position. Successful clubs are littered with players playing in different positions including ours for so long. It is a lazy excuse and only makes sense if the players lack the intelligence required at this level. I think LvG has not done a good job and that is putting it in the most diplomatic way possible but today I am sorry, Lingard, Fellaini and Rashford were incapable of some of the most basic skills that should be taken for granted for a top club and by that I mean running with the ball without over hitting it? Keeping a shot in target? It's the mark of youngsters who might or might not become good enough but are simply not even close to ready at this moment.Ditto.
