Cantona retired at 30. Rooney should seriously give it some thought if he isn't capable of keeping himself physically in enough shape.
but say if Rooney didn't challenge for the ball and the player took it down and scored, then he'd have still got the ball.
Yeah definitely. I have him as 4.5 which is about right I think. Mostly useless with the odd 5/6 performance where he flukes a goal / assist. His average rating of 5.4 is a little high I think.
I'm ashamed to say I have him at 5.5, no idea how it's that high.Yeah definitely. I have him as 4.5 which is about right I think. Mostly useless with the odd 5/6 performance where he flukes a goal / assist.

I think that is it exactly, but he shouldn't be as you said. He is 31, there are players older than him that make world class contributions to top teams. He needs to go and it is a sad end. At least Jose is not sentimental so will not be swayed by Rooney's mates.

He looks like a guy who has wandered onto the pitch from the stands, puts down his pint and fag and has a kick around. Except most of the lads in the stand and probably in better physical shape. It is a shame, he was a force of nature when he was younger but he's never treat himself like an athlete and you can't get away with that in the modern game, a guy like Ibra isn't still performing as he is in his mid 30's by luck.

it all coming back again isn't it. the football intelligence, the new Scholes midfield evolution talk before the Euros. You cant make this shit up
That's more reflective of his contribution I think. That's shockingly generous, I rate him between 2-3 this season.
No clue, it was either the last minute free kick against Stoke that made me rate him high whilst I was too overjoyed at victory to rate him realistically, or I was drunk at some point, or my 6 year old did the ratings, lol.I actually missed that in the game, it's like he tried to make it obvious to make sure the ref gave a free kick, what an utter tw@t!
5.5 why?
Should definitely make zero available for times like this.Got 3.1 off me. If we could score zero on the ratings he would have a lot less
Can you film it and post it on here please?Gonna get a flight in tonight to Liverpool and see if I can catch old of Wazza in Weathers and congratulate him on another 300k p/w performance. Who the f8ck needs Greizeman when we have the pie eating, beer drinking, granny sha**ing, Rambo

It's no use him being a scout when the transfer window's been closed for weeks.

I'm steaming after seeing that result. At the end of the day, it's the club's fault. Ever since SAF left, he's been a constant in that dressing room, and all we get from it is utter shite. I don't want to hear another word about his so-called influence in the dressing room. As far as I'm concerned it's absolute mediocrity. After citys result I now hate Rooney even more and I didn't think that would be possible a couple of hours ago.
He is more like a social worker than a footballer now. If one more player comes out and says how he helped them settle in I will scream.I'm steaming after seeing that result. That contract was the worse thing we ever did.
Me too! Sick of all the PR bull that comes with him.He is more like a social worker than a footballer now. If one more player comes out and says how he helped them settle in I will scream.
Yeah sure it's a true story StevieA True Story
I was watching Wayne with BT's PlayerCam. Packets of fags and Mars bars were falling out of his shorts as he jogged at full pelt once the fulltime whistle blew; turned out he was rushing off to see a repeat of the Joshua fight.
