Wazza was colossal vs Braga today. My MOTM.
How good was the flick for the Hernandez retard-show?
It was excellent. Only noticed on the replay.
Anyone else notice by the way that Sky sped the replay up BOTH times at exactly the bit (on the decisive angle) whereby it would've been easy to see whether or not he'd dived?
Are we still trying to cover up the fact that English players dive?
It will have been Portuguese cameras.
He could score a hat trick and you'd think he only did "all right".
Yep, he wasn't special at all today, and he was at fault for the penalty leaving Evans exposed with that lazy touch. Nice flick to Hernandez at the end, and his penalty was awful lucky. No wonder people say he produces MOTM every game, when after todays game they say he was MOTM by mile. To clear up, he was one of our better players, but this was solid performance, nothing more. His passing was neat and tidy, and he did nothing special except for that assist,
We should just pass the pens out wide and try to win corners from them.
Is there a clip/gif of the Rooney penalty incident?
I couldn't really tell from the replays what actually happened.
Edit: Found it, even from this it's far from clear.
I thought he had a good game, and was one of our best players.
We played like shit mostly because of the midfield (I still don't know how and why Fergie starts Giggs in midfield - in Europe nonetheless), and it's true he wasn't exactly phenomenal, but we generaly played like shit and I think he did better than most players. Great flick, great penalty.
Granted there were moments where he looked a bit lost and lost the ball a couple of times, but overall I can't complain (the same can't be said about Giggs & co.)
He slipped, touched the ball twice, it wasn't great penalty.

So if he does touch the ball twice, should the penalty be retaken?
Wasn't there a penalty where the taker passed the ball to one of his team mates who then scored or am I getting that confused with something else.
What are the rules, does it have to touch another player (goal keeper presumably) or object (post) before the penalty taker can play the ball again?

I'mma go ahead and believe you when you say he touched the ball twice, because although I didn't see it, I didn't exactly look for it either.
But the penalty was struck high under the bar and the keeper had no chance of getting to it.
Ball moved about 6 foot and another player touched it before Cruyff did again.
Colin brought up the idea of the penalty taker passing to a teammate instead of shooting, I just posted the most famous example.
