Freak
Born a freak always a freak.
I always thought he was a winger, like Valencia but with more skills.
Is it reckoned that Moyes and Rooney held their meeting today instead? Or it on hold indefinitely?
There was some moron from the Guardian on Talksport last night saying that Rooney simply needs a hug and that he can see it running on toward deadline day. I don't know where the logic in the latter comes from whatever your starting point in this debate.
There was some Irish chappy on MUTV last night who said we should keep him and Moyes should give him the captaincy. Vidic would love that. Last time he got a big pay rise this time the captaincy. Bloody hell.
I honestly am sick of this. Where does he go from here if he does stay? You know he will be one substitution away from chucking his dummy out of the pram again the twat. So the choice is play him regardless of form or fitness or bench him and listen to him moan and want another transfer.
Captaincy, why stop there? We could name a stand after him, or maybe even change the name of the club.
Manchester United featuring Wayne Rooney.
No need to stop there, we could buy the PL sponsorship rights and rename it the Wayne Rooney league, featuring some other blokes.
Maybe Kirsty Gallacher could tell us how Wayne Rooney put Manchester United on the football map.

I'm surprised by the Barca talk. Not because I think he wouldn't fit in, I reckon he could do a great job there. I'm surprised because they're supposed to have no more transfer budget. They're chasing Thiago Silva. They're now supposed to be going after Gundogan - though I suspect they mean to try and get a pre-contract for next summer. And now Roo?
Unless they're talking about paying over 5 years or handing over a few more players, I don't see it. And matching his salary? If they're serious then it's probably a sign they really are following a Real Madrid style business plan. Looking at players as marketing assets as well as footballers.

The only way I'd take him staying is if its written into a new contract that we can cut out his tongue. No more complaining, no more talking, you sit on that bench and like it.
This is possibly the perfect post.Keep him. He's a fantastic player. Terrible at negotiating a contract without ruining his reputation though. If can get him firing on all cylinders again with RVP we'll be fine.

Exactly what Im thinking! We have to keep Rooney. Get rid of his agent! ha
I do sort of agree with this , but I also think he needs a new challenge, yes I know your going to say He plays for United what more of a challenge does he need, but everybody gets bored in thier place of work and wants a change.
If he wants to go then there's no point in him staying for any party. If though he'd be happy to stay and help us mount the challenge for European dominance there's no better player in the world who can do what he does. Also re boredom, Giggs.
He should really have got rid of Stretford after the last disaster. Poor decision making by Rooney.
Why? He's a great scapegoat, once Rooney decides he wants to stay then we can all blame Stretford slowly over time getting to like Rooney once more until he does it again.
True. I somehow just get the feeling that Stretford is behind most of it, maybe I don't give Rooney's intelligence enough credit
Whether Rooney's "complaints" originated from himself or Stretford, those complaints are nevertheless misguided at best.
So:SAF wanted to play 4-2-3-1,
Can't believe Moyes is happy to let this run on. He'll want to give him that hug - or kick his arse - as soon as possible. It has to be a major concern of his to get this sorted, so he can start preparing for the new season.
Where did SAF ever say he wanted to do that?
Or..... maybe, just maybe, the issue is nowhere near as big as the media have made it out to be?
