Amir, stop rewriting my posts before I've written them.

I'll bet Carroll isn't happy either.
The Fergie code of loyalty and ethics strikes again.
(O'Shea was man of the match against Chelsea and was promptly dropped for the next game).

Mind you don't get mugged and your lap top nicked.

It's Fergie's code of picking the team and the formation he thinks is right. Come on, Wes eventually crumbled under the pressure when we were forced to rely on him all the time a couple of years back. We can afford to let O'Shea grow slowly, let him!
As for Carroll, he was indecisive a bit against Chelsea and made a big error against Sunderland. We have Barthez coming back and a goalkeeper who hasn't even had a taste of the bench yet. Nothing wrong with that decision I feel.

Carroll was a bit indecisive, so gets dropped, despite previous good performances. Unlike others who can be crap every game and still get in the side. Totally inconsistent imo.
Wes Brown is nowhere near the class of John O'Shea. Fergie used to believe if you were good enough, you were old enough.
And OGS plays with the knowledge that if he doesn't score he's unlikely to play the next game, and if he does score he's still not likely to because it shows his value off the bench.
I'll be pleased if we put in a good performance and get all the points, but it won't change my mind about Fergie's man management.

Carroll was a bit indecisive and cost us points. His performances were adequate but certainly nothing to write home about. He could be injured anyway, we just can't tell.
As for Wes, when he first broke he was considered a huge talent. And when Jaap was injured and Wes was a regular in 2000/01 he was sheer brilliance until that OG against Valencia. O'Shea's great but so was Brown in his earlier days (though I feel he still is).
