I heard him on the radio earlier today and he said there were going to be fireworks at the weigh in so he obviously preplanned it
 
Well, that was firstly incredibly stupid and secondly, incredibly disrespectful, not only to his opponent but to the ethos of boxing. In a sport like boxing it's important to retain a sense of dignity and sportmanship outside of the ring at all times - it's fine to hype the fight up with pre-fight banter, threats and whatever, but to actually hit an opponent before the fight is just all round feck-wittery.

Is it ppv? Maybe derecks just trying to push up his pay day as I can't imagine too many folk are shelling out for this
 
I am annoyed by that slapping. My respect for Klitschko has increased based on his reaction. Just low class.
I was all for the underdog, now I want Klitschko to beat him up and not just beat him for a knockdown, but gradual punishment.
So stupid

Well exactly - plus he probably knows this is the biggest fight he will ever get, unless he gets a lucky punch !

Oh, I now see what could have transpired. It all could have been planned because there is no way I remained cool when someone slaps me like that.
For all you know, they could have staged this together to drive up the interest in the fight and now they have. I may now get a stream to watch.
 
I very much doubt that Vitali would agree to that - but Chisora has obviously done it to drum up interest
 
to be fair, he is a boxer, he should have noticed the body movement or counter punched or something cool, like the fist ninja he's supposed to be.


Why they do that whole homoerotic forehead touching is beyond me. Anyway, forget the clap, what's the dude at ,with the union jack bandito look, what a twat.
 
I wanted Chisora to lose before this (he's a collosal twat) but know I hope he gets demolished.

Nice quote from Vitali after the slap as well "What can you expect from a guy who hits his girlfriend? I'm glad he has agreed to fight a man again. Now I’m going to give him a lesson when we get in there.”

Chisora's done more so far than Haye did in his entire fight. Come on Vitali!
 
Interesting they have revealed the scores. Might be distracting in certain circumstances but it's obvious here Vitali is winning.
 
Yeah, very strange that they advertise the scores in the middle of the fight like that.
