Pogba will be more influential with McFred sitting and Rashford needs to replace Greenwood. We need to keep Cavani and Bruno fit, that is essential.

Think we will win the final 3-1.

Defensive shambles or attacking masterclass. What's it gonna be Jesus?

Apparently Villarreal also have a similar keeping dilemma for the final:

We don't have a very good record against Villarreal, do we ?

I remember we drawing 0-0 with them over two legs.

We will win 5-1. In confident. Going to stick 20 quid on it.

Had the game on at the same time as United and Arsenal looked shite, offered nothing. We should beat Villareal no problem but a final is a final, it's about who wants it more and we should fecking want it more, lets have it.

Win this game and we can be pretty damn pleased with another season of progress.

They really didn't look that good against Arsenal from the bits and pieces I saw. Nothing remotely stood out about the individual quality, but Emery knows what he is doing in these one off European ties. We have better quality all over the pitch but they will be looking to exploit our frailties and hoping for a bit of luck and that our performance is poor on the night. We should have too much for them but we have to be careful, select the right team and take our chances.

Is anyone planning on going to the Final?

I've just received an email from the club to say there will be a small number of tickers available and that the club are likely to subsidise day flights by £200 per person. I would have enough European credits to get one of these tickets but there's no way I'm going to go due to the likelihood of having to quarantine - current guidance says that you'd have to self-isolate for 10 days on arrival in Poland let alone on return to the UK!

Cannot start Pogba in the center. Cannot start VDB. Nor Telles or Williams.

Arsenal know how to play these finals even while in shite form. I honestly would never trust us facing them. Villarreal aren't easy, but I prefer facing them.

Agreed. I watched the last 20 of Arse vs Villareal and honestly they were lucky to not concede vs a pretty shite Arsenal side.

If we turn up it should be a pretty comfortable win. Cant play like we did today though.

We are just better. So let's play just like that.
But then there will be diving, and crying and all.

Today I think we were just not arsed. Unfortunately when we're not arsed this happens.

Anybody know much about this Villereal team? Who are their main threats, what system do they play, will they now just coast till the final? Any obvious weaknesses?

One of their best attackers Chukueze (spelling?) went off injured. Looks in doubt

Happy it’s a proper European final and not an English final. Let’s get this won.

Hopefully Maguire and Lindelof will be focused and positionally aware in the final, as Gerard Moreno is a very dangerous striker.

So so glad it's not Arsenal,

Just to escape the nauseating BT w*nk fest of an All English Brexit final in Europe

Feels great being in a European final again, and I'm happy we meet Villareal instead of Arsenal there. Think we all know that Unai Emery is a specialist in this cup and how many times he's won it with Sevilla. Won't be an easy one at all, they're a pretty strong side with a good manager and you never know what to expect in a final. Just hope we got all players ready for it and that we turn the feck up so we can lift a trophy again, the 1st one under Solskjær.

Can’t wait for this, hopefully we can win and get Ole his first trophy!

Apparently Villarreal also have a similar keeping dilemma for the final:

He was awful tonight. Even his own defenders were looking at him and worrying.

Even more concerning for them is their winger went off with a very nasty looking injury. He looked as if his season was over.

Sevilla and Bilbao has made me nervous about playing Spanish teams in Europe.
