    All this fixation on formation is a load of old balls. It is all about players players players. A formation never won any games. Yes you have to have a strategy and a plan but ultimately a bunch of amateurs can have a strategy and plan and will lose. A succession of recruiters and managers have brought in a bunch of overrated chancers who play like they are. Overpaid, overhyped, comfortable and lacking desire. The winners on transfer deals involving United are the agents who are laughing all the way to the bank.

    We are a shambles. With all that, they stick the prices of tickets sky high for kids and treat staff like shit.

    Rashford is absolute poison. He's 100% the leak too. Every time he doesn't get his own way we get some dressing room leaks. Get rid of him and any of his cronies. Absolute waste of space.

    My grandfather stepped on a landmine in WW2 and was still a more capable footballer. Infact, even now, being dead, he's probably still got more chance of dribbling past his man and doing something productive.
     
    The only positive thing I can take from this abysmal performance is that RA is learning the hard way about his players.
     
    This Czech team are working like maniacs all over the pitch, to press and break up our play.
    We struggle to score at the best of times, so we’ll struggle to get anything out of this game, unless Amorim makes a few changes at half time.

    Even in his very best season, his general play was always of this quality. Most of you didn't pay any attention to it because his goals gave you permission to view his performances purely in the light of statistics. Every argument regarding his general play was swept in a degree of emotion under the rug of his goal output.

    Now, finally, there isn't that to fall back on. It's not that Rashford just got worse in his general play. It's that you just didn't pay attention before.

    Yup. The goals he scored in Ten Hag's first season overshadowed the general poor all round play. He had been on a decline from the season before Ten Hag joined.

    There's no guarantees any system or style will work in the PL. I have no issue with him doing something different.

    The players are fecking rubbish and unable to adapt - I would've thought most fans would be able to understand that by now.

    Conte won the league with a top 4 squad with that system. I don't love 3-4-3 either but the system is the least of our problems - compared to EtH's system we have sacrificed some attacking threat for control and more numbers in defense. Whatever system we play, the team looks unbalanced.

    I do hate 3 at the back, but will give the fella some sort of chance of trying to make it work.

    But this is your classic Europa game.
    Crap opponent, kick off time, time in the schedule and fairly mediocre performance.

    Making it 8 games in this round just makes it all feel even less important.

    Onana has come for about 3 crosses and not got near then. Poor judgement tonight
     
    I'd argue Europa League is above our level. We've done well to get as many points as we have thus far.
     
    I’m at the point now when I’d settle for just some enthusiasm and energy from United in the second half.

    Just like EtH, it's a complete different ball game winning in the PL. He hasn't shown that much in Europe, especially with dominating teams with attacking football.

    It's compact and combative his approach in CL, quite different.
