Victor Osimhen

We should at least be asking the question whether there's any possibility of signing him now. I know that an Italian source said he doesn't want to leave in this window, however how reliable is that source for Napoli.

Jeez just had a look on the Napoli reddit and boy does their fanbase want rid of him in a bad way. He has been described as a cancer and toxic influence on the dressing room.

There's some of that due to Nigerian fans on social media taking any opportunity to shit on the club. Even during the good times they'd swamp Napoli social media sites about how shit every other player (usually kvratshkelia got it the worse) but Osimhen is.

Probably one reason why there seemed friction between Osimhen and Kvratshkelia, well especially their agents.

Don't you think it's a little incongruous that this never happened at any other club he's been at before and after the one club where he's been abused by his own club management? Surprisingly (not at all) seems to be a love affair at Galatasary between all parties, toxic Nigeria fans included. I wonder what that tells us.

Don't see this one happening. Proven goal scorer, but would hazard a guess he's not the profile we're after, both financially and sporting.

Not starting or on the bench today. Does that mean a potential transfer is happening?

If we can sell Garnacho and bring in Osimhen and Dorgu, thats a good window for me.

United need the cash for PSR and then Gyokeres in the summer, not fecking Osimhen.

That's good and all but we sort of need signings to come in now as well. There's about 6 positions we'd need to realistically fill, and bringing in one or two this window is definitely a must, especially if its a CF.

the best way is to agree to do separate deals , first sell Garnacho for PSR, then on a separate deal buy Osimhen.

Am I the only one that thinks this should be a top 4 side with the right manager and one good center forward signing?

Separate transactions of £60m each way - would still help our PSR issue in the short term.

Osimhen would be a risk, but with potentially a huge upside.. something has to give as you really get the feeling that Amorim doesn't rate either of our two current Striker options!

Why do we need the signings now? Better to wait for the right player than waste more money in desperation. Surely 12 years of flops has taught us this.

I think we have evidence over the past few seasons that our players will underperform regardless of the formation. They’re just not good enough on the pitch, whatever the reason, regardless of how they look on paper.

Nah, that is a lineup full of problems/

Sign wing backs then and maybe a midfielder. This team can barely keep the ball or do anything with it. Osimhen will struggle just the same. And I'd rather wait until summer and bring Gyokeres, who will be on the market then.

Should get both Gyokeres and Osimhen as they are different profiles of strikers anyway

Do we really need another guy with a bad attitude and high wages?

Recruitment is the most important thing to change, after the new coach.

Including Shaw in a potential lineup is utterly bonkers at this point.

Including a bench like this

Mazraoui (can cover both R back and L Back, when Shaw is injured)
Malacia
Yoro
de Ligt
Casemiro
Mount
Antony
Garnacho
Højlund
Zirkzee

Not a squad from the bottom half of the PL.

That's just poor manager work, if you can't finish ind the top 6 with that squad.

Mourinho, Solskjær, van Gaal and even Moyes would all take this team to top 4.

That's just unrealistic stuff. Neither of these will want to be second choice. And this club doesn't have the money for that when there are gaping voids elsewhere.

Besides, Gyokeres/Hojlund is a good pair. I'm not giving up on the latter either, because Gyokeres was playing for Swansea at that age and no one saw him becoming what he is today.

Will never get the money spent on Rasmus

No they won’t. Lay down the pipe.
