Defended brilliantly all game, covered Shaw's side when he went walkabout multiple times, and sticks the winning pen in the top corner before the director has finished showing the replay of the miss.
Genuinely world class game from him, and he's actually had a couple of those lately.

Ice man
The Iceman stepped up when we needed him. Lindelof and Shaw/Varane has to be the pairing until next season.
So unfortunate his career for us has majority been spent playing infront of De Gea and next to Maguire. Class player
Notice how he performs when he's not next to a nervous wreck?
Topped it off with one of the best taken penalties by United player that I can remember. Up there with some of the penalties in Moscow, Hargreaves comes to mind.
Same when he plays with Martinez earlier in the season, always had very good games alongside him and now with Shaw as well.
Partnership needs to be him and Shaw for the rest of the season. So much more assured than any defence containing Maguire.
