The few games I saw of him for Benfica/Sweden I was looking forward to what he may bring and how he may improve. But since that penalty against Real Madrid in preseason, I was a little worried. So far not really filling me or anyone in the team with confidence.

Well, shouldnt come as a surprise really, since his first game everyone should have known what was coming. Normally a lot of players look good in pre season friendlies, he didnt even manage that. I also said he shouldnt play this season in the league at all, because he quite clearly is not ready and probably will never be good enough

Convert him to a midfielder, or don't play him at all. Blind, Tuanzebe would be far better options at CB at this point. Hopefully Bailly returns soon, despite all the criticism of Smallings ball playing ability at least he's consistently fit for us.

Unless someone has said something about his family, hoping to see him injured etc (I haven't read all comments) - they probably are justified. He is too big a liability to be given more chances. Or if we are being a bit less diplomatic - he is crap!
