Goals from pen are seriously overrated. Only one player in the team will take them. and whoever gets transfered here will have to give it to Bruno. That goal from open play is also really weak goalkeeping. Jut sfeel like we will burn again with him, his goalscoring record is nice but take into account only goals against serious oppo in an open play and it's not so impressive. Get Quenda yes, he's super young and will have a value but then Delap can be as good as Gyokeres for less and with enough years of development to surpass him, already playing in the Prem which is lik two levels above in terms of intensity and quality.

Yeah let's sign another striker who's never broke 20 goals in a season..

I know people bring up the Amorim factor, but in my opinion, he only comes here if the other big clubs don't want him. I reckon we end up with Delap personally, who would be a solid enough option but not really outstanding.

If top clubs in the premier league are actually in for him, I don't see us being able to get him regardless. It doesn't matter that he has a previous relationship with our manager, when the options are a team that hasn't competed for the league in ages, and is struggling down in 14th place, compare to a team consistently in the top four and potentially competing for the title.

Poor management has taken the shine off the club to any potential players, we are no longer able to buy at the top end of the market without stupidly overpaying.

Yeah our only chance is him wanting the move irrespective of what competition we are in. My gut feeling is that he will look elsewhere unless we can somehow win Europa
