Victor Gyökeres

It’s not Inoes who put us in this mess.

The glazers bought the majority of this squad bar our defenders.

The Glazers put us in debt by buying us.

The Glazers took billions in dividends whilst not paying off the debt.

They bought Anthony, Casimeiro, Hojilund, Onana, Sancho.

They gave out the massive contracts.

It’s Inoes who are taking the flack but this has been coming for years.
Not true, since 2005 they have taken approx 166m in dividends, the debt payments have been about 750m, whilst not good there's no reason to make up figures that are wildly i accurate

It will COST us to rapidly take us to the top again, bringing in more potential youngsters then we will need to wait some more years before they boost (if they do...).

I’m not making anything up.

This doesn’t include the money Inoes have paid them. They have made billions and haven’t paid the debts, which are now the clubs debts.

I think you started by saying they had taken “ Billions in Dividends “ which clearly they haven’t.

There’s absolutely no doubt that a huge chunk out of Man Utd and despite the involvement of Sir Jim that ain’t gonna change anytime

The Glazers are leeches but sadly I suspect down the line we will see more leeches at other clubs.

Yes, we certainly will. It seems like leeches and sports washers own football clubs nowadays at the highest level.

I guess we’ll see come the summer, if the finances are really that bad why did Inoes buy in when they had studied the books?
It's a vanity project for Ratcliffe, and they can obviously see the long term vision with a new stadium. Hopefully...

Gyorkeres is the man we need.
I think we need two though. I’d take Cunha.
It looks like we’ll get 20m for Sancho, £40m for Rashford and probably around £20 for Anthony maybe more if he can keep performing.

We are going to lose a huge amount of wages there too. Rashford should never have got that contract and Sancho is reportedly on similar. If we could also somehow get rid of Casimeiro we’d be laughing. That would be close to a million quid a week for just those three.

Rashford will be pure profit. I don’t think our finances are as bad as we are being told so I do expect us to spend £200 million on the summer. I think Inoes are doing four things:

1. Getting us PSR compliant.

2. Making all clubs think we are skint to get rid of the Utd tax.

3. Getting rid of some seriously toxic dead wood players who will never ever do it in Utd shirt.

4. Using our finances to restructure the business then they can say because we did that (ticket prices, redundancies et..) we were able to compete in the market and do this.

Failure for Inoes is not an option. He needs it to be a success.

We'll get neither of these players, again time for a reality check when CL clubs come for these players we won't even get a second look, our targets need to be more realistic for our position we no longer will be at the top table for talent especially because we want to balance our wage bill which means unlike the past we won't have money to offer them with the absence of European football

Couldn't agree more.

We have to go shopping in the bargain basement, to fill out this squad, find the real affordable gems, personally I really like Delap.

I think he is technically very good, looks to be physical and is successful at that, plus he is horrible to play against something we have missed for a long time, we are to easy to play against, finally he has 10 PL goals for Ipswich and would be our top scorer and would be affordable if they get relegated which I expect them to.

In 2015 Chelsea went from champions to 10th.

Conte came in bought:
Rudiger, Moratta, Luiz, Kante, Batshuayi, Zappacosta, Drinkwater and Bakayoko.

He went onto winning the league with his 343 or 3 4 2 1 formation in his first season.
10th to first.

All those players didn’t make massive impacts but there was a fair few of them that could have had offers from clubs in the champions league. Even when UTD are at their absolute lowest they can still attract good players.

2 of those players were a hit, and again I don't know what they offered Kante in terms of wages but again I bet it'll be more than we do, further if I'm a young player this United would be last on my list of clubs I'd want to go to we are a graveyard

2 hugely successful signings in Rudiger and Kante and Luiz did ok.

I think you answered the difference Chelsea had just been league champions before Mourinho had his standard meltdown season, United can still attract players but what top player is going to come to us after 2 seasons of going backwards.

Plus we have FFP crawling up our arse.

We are shaking under a decade plus of failure. The only way is up. Cutting the wage bill and superstar egos and replacing them with raw talent and hunger is a must. We all know it. This season was disastrous in a way none of us thought possible, that rests at the Glazers feet but the players must also take responsibility. Inoes are changing a lot behind the scenes and a lot of people are annoyed but this is the new financial landscape and we need to compete. Amorim was not short of admirers, they can’t all be wrong. Conte dominated in the PL with a similar system that season before doing a Jose and blowing it since.

I guess so too. I don't know for sure of course but the mistakes we made over the years were really big, it would always come to haunt us at some point. And now with additional regulations on top of things, I think, we reached a point, where have to jump the gun. It could be all a facade but given that many numbers are public, it is difficult to work out a scenario where we'd be able to splash the cash. And while I see your point with Ineos maybe not wanting to buy us when the books were really bad - I don't think, that this has too much substance. They might have used the content of "the books" to lower their price. There is also whole industries around buying stuff cheap(er), bringing it up to speed and then resell with a margin. Obviously thats not 1:1 what I think will happen but United shares finding buyers doesn't necessarily mean, that there is a hidden diamond mine below the the stretford end all of a sudden.

Is it the same deal with Samu? I've noticed he hasn't been in the goals lately.
Samu is playing like shit, different matter, although a lot of it is not his fault, he just doesn’t get service.

The loss of Nico and Galeno affected Porto big time, we were bad to begin with and now we are even worse.

We are kind of like United now, young manager, playing 3421, waiting for the summer for some signings to rebuild the team with limited money.

Cheers for the response mate. I was wondering what had happened there because he was very prolific and someone I would have quite liked us to sign, then suddenly everything came to a halt.

Just to take it back on topic, Gyökeres is a player I'd be interested in us signing, but the noises appear to be that he'll be going elsewhere.

Yeah I reckon he will as well

Look at the Q2 financial report that came out today and tell me this again with the same confidence.

TNT just reported that he's been left out for 'squad management' reasons and that he's not injured. That's probably manager talk for he's still in recovery and Sporting start the game at 0-3 down
He did play the last game, but apart from that he has been playing 25 min per game recovering from injury.

Nobody knows if it’s fatigue or what the hell is up with him.
