When you balance it against the 9 games we lost Casemiro for last year for two erroneous red cards, he was due a break. In every other country thats a straight red to Casemiro but nah in England the referee see things differently..

Just as well. Can’t be giving out reds for ball winning slide tacklesIn every other country thats a straight red to Casemiro but nah in England the referee see things differently..

I only saw it once but I’m unsure, it obviously didn’t effect the result, but it was a bit too much of a lunge for me, but also didn’t create too much contact with the other player. Need to see again.Well that should be a red.

It's Luis Diaz on the end of it tough. That cnut should've seen a yellow for elbowing Maguire when he lost his nerve during their earlier jostling. Ref was shit pretty much everywhere today.Well that should be a red.
It's a very clever dive. AWB is an idiot for giving him the opportunity for it but VAR is there to detect cheating which has been missed in real-time. It's now failed to do so in three consecutive penalties against United.
It’s absurd. Let alone talksport - the majority on here think they’re all fecking pens.If we’d had 3 penalties with no contact in a week, Talksport would’ve been slapped with a restraining order
The ball went out of play, how far out does the ball have to be for a lino to call it.
When?
Yep. It's a stupid challenge but if var worked they would have overturned it.I find it weird that no one talks about Elliot not even having any control of the ball when the tackle happened, he passed the ball earlier and pushed his right leg into Bissaka after that. Never a penalty.

Does anyone have more slows of the Elliott penalty? Looked a dive from the whole one replay they showed.
It's a dive
Yeah his right foot which he moves in an unnatural way to force the contact. His right foot clearly gets caught between AWB's legs, its a penalty

It’s a bad tackle but if you look at the actual contact then it’s never a penalty. I hate when commentators say stuff like Elliot did well to dangle his leg. Football is gone really, all game players are constantly diving
Do people think it would have been a pen if it was the other way around? I don’t.
Cf., Vardy, JamieYeah after the ball is gone and he sticks his leg out to initiate contact. The Harry Kane special.
It gets caught there because he plants his foot there despite it being nowhere near where he would need to plant it to keep the ball. His right foot clearly gets caught between AWB's legs, its a penalty
Clear dive. But VAR does nothing. It's just pointless at this stage.
Sums up my thoughtsI like how he drags his right foot, but realises that the contact from AWB isn't coming so he unnaturally pushes it to the right to stick it between AWBs legs. All of this while he's already falling over.
Yeah, at first I thought it was a penalty but now after seeing the slow motion reply and zoomed in it's clear that it isn't. Which I thought was the point of VAR.

Like the Dalot one and probably Antony as well, they were soft but also individual mistakes so they dont protest. It'd be more fair if we also got some calls but not getting the two against Chelsea is still annoying.I mean the fact it’s in super slow mo surely indicates in real time it may/may not be fishing for contact. Regardless though what on earth is AWB doing diving in and giving him the chance? Stupid defending.
AWB is stationary, grounded in the box while Elliot kicks him in the balls. That’s a penalty. Left foot takes the ball away from AWB’s lunge. Right foot clips AWB twice. First on the foot, then on the upper leg. How is that not a penalty?
