Utd Kits 22/23

(Figured it doesn't deserve its own thread)

Anyway I don't mind this actually, surely they would provide something better looking than the factory line dross that addi puts for us up every year.

I'm almost certain that was a rumour 10 or more years ago.

The way we are playing, we would be lucky to get Bukta sponsoring us

It's grown on me since I first saw it. Still not a big fan of the collar, but so be it.

I actually quite like it, gives me real 90s kit vibes. Think the real version that isn't a fake will look better and especially on the players

Shocking jersey looks like something you’d buy online for £10

I’ll see how it looks on Varane first before passing true and fair judgement.

It's ok...thats about it.

Hopefully looks better on. That zebra kit looked shocking at first, but once it was on the field, it looked nice.

I think its a throwback to the first time we won the prem so you can be sure as hell that we'll do feck all with it next year.
Jinx.

Can't believe that's the shirt we'll be wearing when we lift our first title in a decade!

Please tell me is sarcasm. The zebra kit is one of the worst PL kits of all time.

I like it and agree with others who said it's very retro 90's as that was my first impression as well.

If anyone out there has photoshop skills, I'd like to see what this shirt would look like with two changes

1. The shoulder stripes changed from black to white
2. Removing the red/black triangles on the collar and leaving the collar solid white

I think those two changes would make a huge difference. As it stands I think the shirt is horrific, by far the ugliest home shirt we'll have worn in decades.

The collar is growing on me. The whole thing has a bit of a 90s Ajax feel.

You just lack style my friend

It’s a nice top. Retro is cool and very on trend. Lovely piece

I don't like them putting chemicals in the water that turn the freaking shirts gray. So I'm fine with the leaks.

Short memory? The one we had a few years ago with the black lines at the bottom was an abomination and much worse than this new kit.

I just think our home shirts always look better with white accents rather than black.

It seems odd to me to me that they'll put black accents on a home shirt when we wear white shorts. White accents would look better against the white shorts.

Now, if we wear the home shirts away with black shorts, that goes well together.

These are the tiny details one must consider!

It was super weird, yes, but it wound up looking decent when paired with black shorts.

We wore it with white shorts a few times that season and it looked utterly ridiculous.

But yeah, other than this new one that was our worst home shirt basically ever.

I hate collars on jerseys. The 13/14 used to drive me insane wearing it.

Ironically in 2000 when we had the first Vodafone jersey I hated that because it didnt have a collar.

I disagree

For a third kit it was a fun change. Seen plenty of them in public as well (usually Goals etc.) so it served the purpose of third kit quite well in my opinion.

Interesting this leaks after the Lingard fiasco yesterday. Man utd PR machine is in overdrive.

That’s your opinion. Had to be the most popular kit I’ve seen actually worn in public in ages.

Fair enough, but you have to understand how much abuse we took from other club supporters over that kit. It’s highly unlikely we’ll ever see a zebra kit again in the PL.
