He has Ohio, but he will suffer in the next few states.

2012. 03. 10. Kansas Caucus
2012. 03. 13. Alabama Primary
2012. 03. 13. Hawaii Caucus
2012. 03. 13. Mississippi Primary
2012. 03. 15. Missouri Caucus
2012. 03. 20. Illinois Primary
2012. 03. 24. Louisiana Primary

Romney won but not enough. He is going to get trounced in Alabama and Mississippi later this month.

Of the two, which one is the biggest nutter - and is the one I've seen referred to as the Ayatollah? (

Romney will still win the nomination easily, as called since pretty much forever. And then he's going to be destroyed by Obama.

Or Santorum is going to win. And then he is going to be destroyed by Obama.

Or Gingrich is goi- okay, that one isn't going to happen.

How long is Gingrich going to continue on for? Surely its over for him now?

Gingrich won't get out soon because he's got two states he can win coming up soon (Miss and Alabama). If he did get out, much of his support would go to Santorum. Romney is not out of the woods yet.

Ah ok.

That's why I want him to quit, would make it far more interesting. :)

Rick Santorum told attendees at the Gulf Coast Energy Summit in Biloxi, Mississippi, on Monday to trust his judgment on the environment, highlighting his position on climate change—that is, that it's a liberal myth.
"The dangers of carbon dioxide? Tell that to a plant, how dangerous carbon dioxide is," Santorum said, according to the Associated Press.

Rick Santorum:

How depressing :(

That gets all 10. Wow.

He should put a plastic bag over his head to investigate the dangers of carbon dioxide.

"The bottom of the ocean, dangerous? Why don't you try telling that to the chemosynthetic bacteria who thrive around hydrothermal vents. Who is this moron?"

He will. Everyone but Romney is playing for the brokered convention. They aren't trying to win. Just trying to avoid losing.

The depressing thing is people actually lap up this kind of BS and vote for him.

Romney yesterday said Santorum wasn't conservative enough to be his running mate.

Santorum today said Romney was a socialist.

At some point, words will just stop meaning things when they come from Republican candidates.

Santorum wins both Alabama and Mississippi. I wish Gingrich would just feck off, would make it a bit tasty.

I am sure Romney benefactors are paying Gingrich to stay in the race....and he could always do with the money. He poses no threat to them, all the while, splitting the extremist/fundamentalist/christianist votes with Santorum.

I doubt it. Gingrich is still sore about what Romney did to him in FL.

I wonder if Romney will pick Santorum as his VP candidate, who else is there? Hell, look at how far McCain had to go to find someone.

good for the base..awful for independents.

but he is not an idiot like Palin. So that would be a plus.

The key factor is he is a big negative where women voters are concerned.

That may rule him out.

In the end though people vote for the top end of the ticket.

The VP pick is surely going to be Marco Rubio, unless Santorum bullies his way onto the ticket at the convention.

The presidential election politics all say Rubio- Latino and from an important swing state.. the Republican primary may force Santorum onto Romney to get the delegates.

It would be a great move on Romney's part to do so as it would buy him some conservative credibility. Rubio is definitely one of the most popular Republicans among voters and the GOP establishment at the moment. Chris Christie may have a shout but he's still very unpolished and prone to improvisation.

He won't reject it if offered. The exposure will be a good experience for him if he's interested in running in 2016.

I saw the Maher piece. I also saw the interview with Alexandra Pelosi. Interesting how you only chose to show the one part of the documentary depicting the people in the south.
