Perry on why he wants to stop funding the United Nations..."The UN...all too often, is not acting in America's best interests"

Breathtaking!

I doubt anybody would argue against the view that the republican party is shrinking. It mainly appeals to old, white people by playing up to their cultural panic and confusion about the radical changes in this coutry since the 1950's.

BTW...Rick Perry just boasted on Fox News about challenging Pelosi to a debate and her refusing to do so!

great response from Pelosi.

she was busy that day

I'm doing firstly this and secondly something else....and third......I cannot remember...

Herman Cain Fears Doctors with Muslim-Sounding Names - Politics - The Atlantic Wire

Herman Cain has taken to telling Christian audiences an anecdote in which he feared being seen by a doctor with the last name Abdallah during his cancer treatments until he learned the doctor was Christian. Yahoo News's Chris Moody quotes Cain telling the story to an audience at The Holy Land Experience, a Christian-themed amusement park in Florida:

It's very well known what a big fan Jesus was of people making profits off of religion. I'm pretty sure there was some parable about moneylenders in a temple that mentioned it.

Don't get me started on that. The irony is delicious really. Christianity has become just another commodity for businessmen to use to get rich, who gives a shit what it actually says about using the church to sell stuff in the bible.

Then there's the beautiful line 'Its easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to get into heaven'

roughly translated in the US as 'make as much money as humanly possible and I don't care who you have to kill to do it'.

I don't remember either.

You know what'd be a great format for the Presidential debates....both candidates just sit in a room for three hours and talk to each other about the issues. No moderator, just cameras on them talking about what they really think with as much time as they like for each subject.

Them darn Muslims are now pro-cancer too? God help us.

T'is my uni :o

St Andrews University? That one all the way up in Fife? Weirdos.
You're not wrong, and Conservative Society members are weirder than most.

I didn't see any reasons listed. Any word on why this was done?

As a guess, they're spoilt rich kids who think Obama is holding the world back from becoming a conservative paradise.

They are going to come onto stage with pyrotechnics by the time this debates are over.

You have got to be kidding me? Is there ever an occasion when the Americans don't sing their anthem?

.

They're completely mental and make Cameron and Osborne look like a pair of raving communists. If the current crop of under-25s is anything to go by, the future Tory Party will basically be a bunch of inhumane, extremist libertarians.

You're wrong Rednev, young tories are fiscally on the right but are more socially minded than previous conservative generations.
