The republicans need to do something about the decline in Latino voting for them. Reagan must be rolling in his grave.

Last night, 77% of gay and lesbian voters - who made up 5% of the electorate - cast their ballots for Obama, the first president to support marriage equality, and who mentioned gays by name for the first time in the history of victory speeches. The 113th Congress, meanwhile, will be a groundbreaking one: voters elected America's first out US senator - Wisconsin's Tammy Baldwin - and sent to the House five out gay men (two of them incumbents, and one of the first out gay person of color in Congress) and an out bisexual woman (the first openly bi member of Congress). Americans also re-elected a pro-equality justice in Iowa after three pro-equality justices were ousted in 2010. And, of course, we went four for four in the marriage equality ballot measures in Maryland, Maine, Washington and Minnesota.

"When we come back: Would President Obama have won the election without the mainstream media?"

They're so shameless.

Morris will be on Billo tonight.

I heard a bit of Dennis Miller in the car and he was remarkably reasonable about the whole thing.

What are Fox if not the mainstream media?

They're calling him a lame duck President now. I can taste the tears. Mmmmm...Tears.

Praising Romney's speech, and criticizing Obama's

Ah, I love Fox.

Romney's was what you would expect of somebody in his position at that moment, albeit a half hour or more late.

Obama's was much like others we've heard before or his of 08, however four years experience of his presidency temper enthusiasm with reality and cynicism.

For all the bluster voter turnout was down with approaching half of the electorate giving it a miss. How is it that a status quo of 50% participation seen as acceptable? Not hearing much talk about that.

Nonetheless third parties maintained their vote share as modest as it is, which is a small positive.

One of the douchebags on Fox Five just claimed Obama putting on the presidential jacket during the visit to the storm affected areas was "a move to the right."

What the living feck.

Maybe the real lesson is, "Shut up about rape, for feck's sake."

The feck is this mandate shit they're talking about?

It is a bit weird, in recent years which president has actually had more than 25% of the electorate voting for them? Did Fox make the same charge when only a quarter publicly backed GW?

Nothing has really changed in the Senate or House either, did Obama have a mandate last week?

Rasmussen did good job. Really picked up the trends in all the states. Needs to move to cell phones.

Nope. He admitted himself his weightings were wrong.

For a 'pro-lifer', Ryan's comment there seems perfectly reasonable to me. If you consider abortion to be the murder of an unborn child, then I don't see how you can justify it on account of the method of conception being rape.
