Clinton!!!! He could talk a straight man into bed.

I don't know what it is about Obama, but it's different in that it's not just charisma or eloquence. Even if it's just ridiculously good acting, it's like there is a fair bit of decency and morality to him. The difference in someone like him and David Cameron or any other bender we've had over here in this aspect is hilarious. Still though, like I say, I'm just some ignorant overseas spectator with no real idea of what he's implemented, gone back on, lied about, etc...

Congratulations to America. I was worried at first and doubted Nate Silver but there was no need. It was fun watching FOX a little bit last night; they really are a bunch of wingnuts on the right.

Biden/Clinton 2016. They win, Biden retires half way through due to health and Clinton becomes first woman President???

I would imagine that Hilary would whip Joe's ass in a Democrat leadership contest Especially as Im sure Obama will not publicly back either of them. Of course so much is dependent on what happens in the next 4 years.

I'd like to see a woman lead the US. Would be fun to see Hilary go proper toe to toe with the hill billy sheiks in Saudi Arabia.

But then again, Josh, Obama's deputy chief of staff, might 'just go pick one' and then we'll have a Latino. A hot female US/Latino President will be fun all round.

Fox still haven't given this up by the way. They keep going over to Florida where Obama is leading with 99% of the votes in, and saying it's "still too close to call", and therefore it's still not a known thing yet. Then they switch to the studio talking about how another four years of Obama will be. They are all over the palce.

Its technically still too close to call because the final results appear to be within .5% margin which automatically triggers a recount, which could take a week or more. There are also absentee ballots from overseas that still need to be factored in which may alter who wins it, although it would be a surprise if Romney manages to make up the amount of necessary votes to catch Obama after a recount.

Possibly not if they're military. It just depends how many there are left. If there were 100,000 and Obama lost them 70/30, he'd still have enough to win, although not without a recount.

Should just emphasise again what a clusterfeck this Senate race has been for the GOP. Then Dems had tons more seats up for re-election than they did, and it looks like the Dems have GAINED 2. First openly gay Senator, Mourdock and Akin soundly beaten, Warren in... good job America.

My favorite person of the evening is still Dr. Charles Kraut Hammer.

LOOK AT HIS FACE!!

He predicted a Romney "landslide" which included 315 EVs.

But apparently a 332 EV win for Obama is a "squeaker".

Only Fox would give a platform to someone like Morris/Palin. People who have no credibility left.

So all the incessant talk of Ohio prior to the election, and Obama ended up getting to 270 quite comfortably without it. Colorado was actually the tipping point state that put him over the top, then Virginia put him at 285 before Ohio even enters the picture. This is all in terms of margins of victory in the states by the way, not the order they were called.

The strategy for Ohio by Obama was to deny Romney his path.

It was never a must win for Obama...but always a must win for Romney. Without it he was scrambling.

As the states were called (and VA and FL not being called) I had the vision of a pincer movement in battle by Team Obama.

Just magnificent strategy.

He's considered to be the intellectual heavyweight of Fox News.

Oh well...

He's a villan in a science fiction B-movie about Nazi scientists just waiting to happen.

"Ah, Dr Kraut-Hammer, how iz ze research going?"

"Gooood, Gooood. Ve vill have ze prototype candidate soon. He iz a being of pure evil. Mwa ha ha ha ha!"

he always looks like they melted his face just below his nose...and froze it again before it all became wax..

mind you he does sound a mental giant compared to the other pygmies on there.

as an aside my voting yesterday took all of 10 minutes.....it was raining but the car park in the scool was still pretty full.

I thought it was just a tad longer than 4 years ago.

God got angry at the gays again and sent another storm. Didn't think it through this time though. Silly God.

Look at all those thing-wanting bastards.

They're still rubbishing the idea of needing go more moderate on FOX. I can't work out whether this is good or bad. If they get a token Latino (or even better, a Latina - Susana Martinez seems to be their favorite) on the ticket they can ignore needing to be introspective and change and plough on peddling the same old crazy bullshit to a slightly less male & white demographic.

Just like they've sold out to capture the baby boomers and the religious nutters, they will come up with some plan to capture the growing Latino population. Hopefully, the majority of Latinos see through the smoke.

Can an American please explain why the Republicans got spanked so badly in Michigan, given Romney was previously Top Dog there?

It was almost the biggest majority win in a state for Obama ... a bit like Jed Bartlett getting hounded naked out of New Hampshire.

People here in Michigan don't really consider it to be Willard's homestate. Remember, he only won the primary 41-38.

Is it wrong to have fantasies about tying (in a fun way) female Fox presenters and guests up and abusing them anally.

This is doing the rounds on FB righties pages... clutching at straws comes to mind...

Mitt's home states:

Michigan - Lost by 9
Massachusetts - Lost by 23
New Hampshire - Lost by 6
California - Lost by 20

Ah well, least he carried Utah.

Not at all, I share similar fantasies but I include the likes of O'Reilly and Hannity in my fun, BDSM party.

Nah, I just feel like punching O'Reilly and Hannity in the face until their nose splinters into their brains.....that is presuming they have brains.
