Okay, I think I'm confident enough to change to Fox News soon.

VA is all over the place... some counties Romney's 6 up on McCan's tally, in others he's below it, and O's matching his 08 tally in a fair few rural areas. But Nate Cohn thinks it's trending back to O:

Unless something surprising happens in northern Virginia, Obama will probably carry the state. Romney didn't make enough gains in rural Virginia and Obama is holding up quite well in the black belt counties of southeastern Virginia. With Obama holding up well in the Richmond suburbs, it's tough to imagine how Romney would make huge inroads in northern Virginia.

Just tell your employer you went down a bird and caught a yeast infection in the mouth.

That would be believed sadly.

Anyone else recognising the syllables.

Nice to hear Boehner is going to already ramp up the tax fight. Maybe things will get uglier between the big parties. :(

In this district where I grew up (Thaddeus McCotter's old district), Krazy Kerry Bentivolio won.

His brother called him mentally unbalanced, he is a reindeer farmer, had electroshock therapy as a child after being caught sniffing glue, he acted in a low budget movie that accused Pres Bush of being part of a 9/11 conspiracy (he is a Republican) and there's more. The guy is a lunatic. :(
