Really? I lived there for for almost 2 years. At times it feels like living in the 60's. Never lived in LA. I thought parts of LA were very conservative.
A lot of that is early voting, Romney will eat into it. But, all the pre-election polls have been right so far. Still favourite for a ~3 point win.

Sure, the surrounding communities are hard core conservative farmers. Small in number. Chico itself is just whack, crazy lib. Oroville is all crackheads. Not a huge population really. But for me, just as liberal as SF. Some there are worse because they look at SF as this big city pollution pile and they are clean and close to nature.
