It certainly does if they reach the 5% vote level. I believe then they qualify for matching funds and whatnot which would help for the next time around and so on. Until they can get some mass publicity they will remain irrelevant.

The Green Party qualified for federal matching funds this year. Hasn't helped much, has it?

1 more hour before the first polls close.

In states where parts of said states are in the central time zone, so polls will remain open for another hour there, and no results from the state will be reported until the whole state is done.

And since those states are Indiana and Kentucky, it's not really any news that'll be coming out of those states.

According to some reports Bush voted for Obama

He really is an imbecile though this time he made the correct choice.

Not sure, I wasn't overly aware of Jill Stein. In all fairness it probably came more from this thread than anywhere else. Then I did see a bit of the 3rd party debates.

In the end you may be right. :(

Best of luck with the bets.

Oh, come on now. And really you could say that about every election if you wanted too.

This certainly seems far more mudslinging and misinformation than I ever recall during an election. Both sides do it but Romney has been shown repeatedly for flip-flopping, having no plan, and blatant lies. So go on and bat your eyes sweetheart, the truth sometimes stings.

On a serious note I just have a feeling Obama will be shafted tonight, maybe I'm just a cynical fecker.

I'm getting confused. When do first solid results (not exit polls) start coming through? Thinking of a nap.
