The whole Mormonism thing shows how desperate Perry is now. It was always going to come up and hurt Romney, but pulling it out this early is evidence of how poorly Perry is doing. He's one of the more realistic candidates but has been getting slaughtered so he's pulling out the big guns to stay in it until the voting starts.

These moderators are doing well. I think they are struggling to hold in their laughter at some of the candidates answers though. These are the people who should run the economy...christ!

Rick Perry is lost. And this guy could run against the oratorical genius that is Obama.

Yep...he really is that dumb. It's over for him. He'd have got away with the good old boy act in 2000 but it doesn't wash in this economy.

'Get it to work like a market'..........That's Romney on healthcare. I feel sorry for you guys.

Cain is a token. The racists will never vote for him when it comes to pulling the lever.

Can you imagine him telling pizza jokes at European summits? He's got no business being in this race...he might know stuff about business but he is a fecking idiot on everything else.

He's also a bit of an idiot. If a charismatic one. 9-9-9? Really?

Actually, they're all idiots. Except for Huntsman. Who has less chance of winning than Rick Santorum. Romney is doing well, but then we know what a spineless prick he really is.

Why, exactly, is the idea of the Federal government doing something so very, very different from the idea of State government doing something? Some of these people treat anything the federal government does as overreaching, but would be happy to see states do the same thing on their own.

Why doesn't that go any further? Like.. counties? Why so arbitrarily opposed at the federal level? Hell, some states have populations the size of decent sized countries.

Is it their all-powerful 18th century constitution?
