She’s not running, why not call them what they are?
We don’t need her to potentially galvanize said deplorables to go out and vote to spite her. She needs to keep quiet about it and let the Democrats move on and disassociate from her.

None of them won the popular vote so convincingly. Gore probably regrets not taking on Bush a second time.
None of them had such an easy opponent
either

All of you seem very sure that Clinton isn't going to run again.
The only way I can see her running again is if there’s definitive proof that Russia/Trump stole 2016 from her.

In which case she really can run on ‘It’s my turn’ as her slogan.

Nah, she can still feck off. Should be nowhere near the 2020 election.

I'm pretty sure no-one outside of Bernie's campaign team want her to run again.

If they find definitive proof that 2016 was stolen from her, she’d have a very strong case in 2020

Not really, that election's done now and 2020 will be fought on modified issues. A stronger candidate should be chosen instead.

No point arguing about it, don’t think she’d run anyway.
No one likes her. She's the least popular candidate ever. That's a very not strong case.
It’s not true that no one likes her, you can argue not enough people like her

The NYT early estimate has it at Lamb +0.4  Will be a long night if that's anything to go by.

Needle's going hard for Saccone now, up 2.1. We may need to offer a sacrifice to the Needle.

John King's analysis on CNN right now is very good. Looks like Lamb is outperforming in several key counties.

He's up 1,000 votes with 95% in (200k counted). 0.4 point lead.

Yikes.

So Conor Lamb is pro-gun apparently. Another gun bloke in congress. Don't know his exact opinion on gun control, but he's never going to vote for proper gun control since historically politician who are pro-gun in general don't do anything for gun control especially the specific measures that need to be passed.

That's all irrelevant. This particular district is going away in 8 months and there will be another election after the recent gerrymandering ruling in PA, where judges ruled the state would have to undo previous gerrymandering, which will benefit the Dems. So whoever wins tonight won't be able to do much in 8 months. The bigger story here is that Trump won this district by something like 20 points and a Dem has either won it or come close tonight. It suggests there could be a massive blue wave in Congress this November.

Apparently, this district will no longer exist in several months, so his pro-gun stance will have little effect.

Yikes, so close. Back down below 1k vote margin, but nearly all of the most GOP area is in, with a little bit extra to come from the heavily Dem area. Will be tight to get over the 0.5% mark!

Still about 7k absentee votes that haven't been counted yet. This will be very close.

I think Saccone might just nab it, and Trump will pretend it was his endorsement that did it.
