What a truly bizarre country

As someone who considers himself Christian I will freely admit that christianity (small "c" on purpose), and especially organized chrisitanity, has done more to cause death and suffering in America than all other causes combined. It has been used to justify wars, slavery, suppression and outright oppression. The sooner organized religions go away the better.

Bravo.

That's not due to christianity. That's due to stupidity.

Could have been budhism, or patriotism, or nationalism, it just happens to be christianity.

Just saying

Sure, anything could have been used to justify the evil committed, but in all these cases it was christianity and almost always with the blessing and participation of church leadership.

Presumably it’s going to be him vs Trump in the GOP primaries and they’re both fishing in the same pond of crazy?

Wow. Just, wow…

Just a taste, in case someone didn't think this was worth spending 4 minutes watching. Oh boy is it.

Lt. Gov McGeachin: You know what? Nick Fuentes - I don't, as I said, I don't know him, I d- he- he's never... I've never met him. I don't know, you know, what, what is, what he's, everything that he says, or doesn't say, is not, uh, does not reflect on who I am, or who the thousands of others that are participating in this movement .

Reporter: you didn't bother to look up his name or anything?

Lt. Gov McGeachin: I didn't say that.

Reporter: you did look him up?

Lt. Gov McGeachin: y- y- you didn't, that's not the question that you asked me.

The most incredible thing to me is that she so obviously realizes what a disaster the interview is for her, and yet she doesn't just end it, or walk away, or assault the camera man. Those would all be more rational responses than continuing to answer the reporter's questions in the stupidest possible way.
