US Politics

You’re right, it doesn’t apply to the present. So what’s the solution then?

The solution is raising wages for people at the bottom, reducing the cost of education/housing, forgiving student debt, and creating a more progressive tax system. Some form of UBI would probably also seem to be in order.

Unsurprisingly NOT ONE Republican voted for it to pass in the Senate, yet according to polls 75% of the public were in favour of it.

And Merrick Garland confirmed as Attorney General. 70-30

Quite the day.

Reporter: What, in your opinon, are the three worst things about US politics right now?
McConaughey: Alt-right, alt-right, alt-right

If McConaughey runs as a Dem, he will have a decent shot at winning.

I'd rather see him run as Senator and kick out Cancun Cruz but I can see Gov. as more preferable in his case

Cruz isn't up for reelection until 2024.

It will be interesting to see how he handles his reelection since he likely will also be going hard for the presidential nomination. I'm trying to remember the last time a senator was up for election and also running for president. They would have to chose one, right? I am assuming someone(s) will need to primary for his senate seat.

replies to this tweet is "now do Trump" and allegedly that these accusations against Cuomo are a Republican operative
