Us Open 2012

This will be good entertainment for tonight, put a livebet 1000 SEK on Djokovic @1.80.

The backhand slice is really fecking up things for Murray right now.

Until one of them manages to adjust to the wind it is going to be one of those games that will be full of break points and errors. As by looks of it from the serves so far the end Murray is serving from at present is looking slightly the easier for serving, so like Saturday it is going to be whoever holds their serve best from the bottom side of the court to help towards the result.

Murray not aggressive enough on his ground strokes.

In these conditions this early on both players are not going full on for the shots, as it is going to come down to who settles the best in these conditions and finds the right balance to go for it when they can.

Murray breaks again.

Double faults galore from Nole.

Murray really needs to hold his nerve now

Jesus christ, that's an awful service game by Djokovic.

Another break for Murray now comes the hard bit holding the serve from the bottom end of the court, as so far this end is causing problems for both of them when serving.

Crazy amount of unforced errors already. Going well for Murray so far, just needs to hold this.

Murray will take the first set. He is looking alright here actually.. Novak will have to bring his best game to win this one. feck me I have work tomorrow but I am so tempted to stay up and watch this to finish

That's probably why I've never really noticed it, he's not been out of control for a long time now.

Murray breaks again, now can he hold his own.

I noticed it during his defeats to Federer this year. But the first I remember was the 2011 USO SF against Federer, where his grunting was pretty loud.

I think it helps him concentrate and put a bit more power into shots.

For whatever reason it looks to be more difficult to play from the end Murray's about to return from (or it's easier to play from the other end).

Was the same in Murrays last match the bottom end of the court as we watch it seems to be the hardest to serve from.

Not surprised that last shot was lazy. Must be fecking knackered!

54 shot rally shows how much the conditions are affecting the way they want to play, the ball was moving all over the place in the wind during that.

That rally summed up the problems and the good with both these players.

Novak didn't have enough angles to go for a winner.
Murray didn't have the power despite having the angles.

A couple of times there was almost computer game levels of silly swerve on the ball.

Murray's first serve staying in bailed him out, nice hold that.
