The conditions are making this into an odd match for both of them as at times they are unsure of shots ending up when the wind gusts so are being ultra careful.
It was. Exciting but poor tennis. Djoko is far from his best and Murray bottled a lot of crucial points. The play it safe rallies were pathetic.
In any case 90 mins for first set.. if this goes to 5 .. it will last 6 hours or so it seems..
He is - and I hope this is the first and last time I have to say this in my life - right behind Judy Murray.
Both men were dodgy at times, largely due to the wind, but some of the shots and rallies within it were excellent. They've been showing some of their best tennis but haven't done so consistently yet. Makes for an even, tense game that's unpredictable though.

In terms of Tennis quality, it's been a poor match. Really some poor shot selection, poor serving, poor returning. Really a lot of room for improvement from both players.
What the feck is wrong with Djokovic's balance?

Some points towards the end of the tie break was like watching senior tennis. Zero risk tennis with some poor shots. Ofcourse we have the conditions to blame but a Slam final really should be played in normal conditions.
Genuine question, why do the English really want Murray to win? Do you guys consider yourselves to be more English than British or the same?
