@Indnyc

I'll take that bet. Eusebio/Kalle for Law?
A sweet front 2 by the way.
Not sure if that's an ideal front 'two' as both preferred to drop deeper or into the channels primarily instead of staying inside the box. Eusebio keeps getting shoved as a #9 due the there being more quality #10s and lesser #9s but ideally he should be partnered with a proper #9.

It's a great front two for a diamond formation with someone like Platini or Zico pulling the strings.

Yeah, definitely works better in a counter attacking formation, but I'd still like to see Eusebio paired with someone who can occupy the CBs and allow the panther to show his creative side as much as the direct running and dribbling. He was much more than just a goalscorer.

Also can't have deadlines in this draft, similar to the draft we had where we had to pick a teammate of the player picked by the previous manager, so only after a pick is made the next manager can decide who to pick.

Why is not playing in the WC important ?
If we are changing the color by playing a card of the same number, we either need to pick someone who was a teammate of the previously picked player, or someone who has never played in the WC in case we dont want to pick the previous player's teammate. Of course Navas played with one high profile British (Blue color) player, but I was not interested in picking him, hence went with the no WC option.

Thanks, I had missed that rule from the OP. Makes things a bit harder and thanks for saving us from the yellow hell

 British isles has also been plundered a bit early on but still of course much better than the African jungle safari.

With all reverses and no deadlines it's going to take a while! Potentially the slowest draft ever
We'll need to do a blitz draft with a Skype conference after that.

for moby its going to be the fastest draft

@Moby got a little lucky there.

yup. Naturally we have to wait so that we keep the mechanics of the draft.

Ok then.

First I play the Change Color and change the color to Red and I can pick any player not on the GOAT list.

I pick Thierry Henry.

On top of that, I play Draw 2 Red, which means Indnyc again has to drop a European player.

I pick Michael Laudrup.

Sorry @Indnyc , again my hand was forced. Over to you again.

Just to clarify, If someone uses a draw 2 card, the manager dropping a player must drop a player from the aligning colour or can drop any player he chooses?

Just trying to get my head round why Indy had to drop a European player, I missed that rule

From the same color - in this case Red. If he doesn't have one - any player in his team.

If he also has a draw card the punishment carries on to the next manager.
