Van Persie every time, he just as lethal, with a 1st touch that only Berbatov betters, and he also provides many assists, so his link up play is better.

Just Hope Hernandez and Welbeck learn from him and add to their game.

Nah, he always says that, if a player becomes available that he wants, etc etc, which is pretty much what happened with RvP.

I'd like to see us bring in a LB but I wont be surprised if thats it.
 
I saw it. He was laughing. He was talking to Mutv earlier in the day and said we are looking at one more position and have the money should the player become available.

Dont think we'll go to fill the position with any player.. We probably have someone in mind and will move should he become available.

He had his eyes up to Heaven when saying Yes, and then looked over to David Gill.
But the "it's finished" seemed pretty firm.

"No, I think it's maybe one other position, but we've spent a big bit of money and if I need to go to the Glazer family then I am sure they would say yes but it's only if a certain player was, became available then we would take it."

Let's just say I don't take any of Fergie's words on this matter that seriously. He's hardly going to tell anybody the truth, is he?
 
I reckon the reality is that we make enquiries about a whole host of players that the press never get wind of, probably because they're not available.

The vast majority of rumours you see are complete bollocks, then when we sign a player you find out that the clubs been working on it for months without it ever being reported.
