United linked with Fernando Llorente

What do you mean by a proper number 9? In my book Llorente is a No.9 player. Also whom they can got that is better than him, especially considering Juve's finances which are not that great (new stadium, many failed signings that were in the last regime, players that still are/were 'till this year in their pay check, and Uefa Financial Fair Play)

Something like the Torres of Liverpool days, or Falcao. He is a different type of players, who plays with his back to goal, and excels with his hold up play. Considering Giovinco is not that good, I think they could have done better in the sense that buy a striker who is more willing to get at the end of chances and service that the midfield will provide.

Juventus are a much, much better team than Tottenham. They're a far greater club too.

Completely agreed. There's just no comparison between the two, Juventus are one of the biggest clubs in the world and have by far the biggest fan base in Italy as well as the most titles (Milan only edge them in European Cups, by a fair margin though). Tottenham are Tottenham.

Like who? They can't afford Falcao or Cavani. Maybe they could sign Suarez in the summer but it's a very outside bet and definitely not right now.

I'm sure Llorente isn't their first choice but he's the best that was on offer at a price they could afford. Plus he scored quite a fair few goals last season and was playing as a back to goal striker less. Just look at his games vs us.

They were willing to offer 20M plus, and the wages for RvP. What makes you think they cannot afford any other striker?

And I don't get why you are using the games against us as a measuring stick when it's very well known we weren't interested in those matches of Europa League.

Because Falcao, Cavani and Suarez would cost at least double that, probably more and they'd be on the same wages and want a year extra on their deal.

Hahahahahaha. You can't be serious. Worse than RAWK.

Falcao, yes. Cavani, Maybe. Suarez, definitely no.

Really? You'd think so? Look at the sides that we played against both the matches against Bilbao.

You think Liverpool would sell Suarez for less than £40m when he has 4 years left on his contract?

Are you serious?

We started pretty much a first choice XI both games.

Both XI's could easily have been started against any top PL side.

We were played off the park in both games and I don't buy the argument that we didn't care. Obviously it wasn't a priority but we cared, otherwise we wouldn't have fielded strong teams in both legs. Giggs and Park were the only two non-regulars we played and they actually started against City in the league.

I think Bilbao refuse to play him for the most part because he's leaving in the summer.

Which is daft by them seeing as he's one of their best players and they are not exactly flying at the minute.
