Turnover not takeover
You'd think but there will be Nimby', there always areYou would hope the fact local authorities are involved in the process may move things along quicker.

It would cause a stink - I'm just imagining several K fans farting at oncePut a floating stand above the pitch and have fans there too. It will really up the atmosphere
True but that wasn't what the poster claimedNot after they were all-seater though
Trafford Arena/Stadium. Got to retain some link I think
Im hoping he'll be gone before it breaks groundHopefully Mount will have returned by the time the stadium has opened.
I hate Sebastian Coe
That’s Lord Seb to you.
I'm excited about a potential new stadium, but the lack of clarity about the source of funding makes me worried. I don't think we can take on more debt, and I also doubt that the government would fund it either.
Why do we need him? He'll put a running track around the field I bet
Wasn't there talk of using the exact same location for the pitch? And if it's as you say, is there enough available land "next door" for a huge new stadium?
And an artificial lake for the INEOS sailing team.Due to SJR's involvement in motor sports we're getting an F1 track around the pitch
Ask TV Dragon Gary Neville to invest into it.I'm excited about a potential new stadium, but the lack of clarity about the source of funding makes me worried. I don't think we can take on more debt, and I also doubt that the government would fund it either.
If only there was a lake sized area of water nearby the land. And an artificial lake for the INEOS sailing team.
Sounds like the players making demands for the Carrington upgradePlease no running track.
There is enough room. You may need to take down one or two stands towards the end of the build to make enough room for one side of the ground but that’s not impractical. Bilbao and Spurs did similar things.
A new stadium on site is the right choice. The current Old Trafford has fallen too far behind to be properly salvaged. Why spend basically the same trying to redo the current ground when we can build a state of the art new one?
With dinosaursShould be 200k capacity with a theme park and zoo on site.
I quite like the clean modern design of those stadiums. We could paint ours red and add an F1 style livery to it to differentiate it from the restIf they get the design right then it will be easier to get onboard the new build idea.
But if we are just left with a generic Spurs or Arsenal modern stadium at the end it will be a shame to lose Old Trafford.
i'd rather disneyland manchester editionNo giant water park, swimming pools and minimum of 300 saunas for fans?
I'm kind of disappointed, I wont lie
And a cheese roomShould be 200k capacity with a theme park and zoo on site.
Starting already - ‘South stand United’ taking legal advice, whoever they are. Too many interested stakeholders to avoid delays. You'd think but there will be Nimby', there always are
No.Didn't Spurs play at Wembley for the duration of the build?
I wish that New Trafford name would die already. It’s childish sounding and Old Trafford is named after the area of Manchester it’s inHas to be New Trafford or keep the Old Trafford name.
