Curran gone too. SNP with 24,000 and Curran only with 13,000. This is insane. Shadow secretary of state gone.

That exit poll is pretty much what I was predicting this morning. A complete bloodbath for the LibDems and Tories doing well. Pretty sure that's how it's going to pan out. LibDems losing their deposit in Sunderland... Jesus.

Not over yet, only six results. At least your tax bill won't go up and no VAT on your moat cleaning.

Feck me it is a LibDem bloodbath. Surely Clegg cannot survive this?

Douglas FFS. Bloody jocks.

And she's done it! A 20 year old Politics student has beaten one of Labour's big dogs. It's a bloodbath.

Tory majority is coming, they're actually taking seats from Labour now. Absolute bloodbath.

Says it all.

Feck it, going to take a day off tomorrow.

Is there any hope for Labour?
Potential for a Major-esque government paralysed by its right wing and a tiny majority (either with other parties or without), allowing a Labour landslide in 2020.

Yeah I'm not sure I'm awake either.

This 20 year old woman from the SNP is freaking me out. She neither looks like a 20-year-old nor a woman.

SNP wiping out Labour has nothing to do with England though.

Well Labour will win then and you can take the piss out of me as much as you want. Or the Tories win and you can deny it has anything to do with the part of the country most covered in this election, which previously had a load of Labour MP's and which now doesn't. But the vote north of the wall and those voting SNP can't possibly be held responsible for their vote at all, jackanory Jackanory, javckanory.

Nah, I can't see that happening for a while, despite this.
Couple this with Holyrood in 2016 where they'll probably increase their majority...it's coming, and it'll pass. Cameron will offer federalism, they won't take it.

If the Tories have a majority, and Labour are a good 100 seats short of them, it has hee haw to do with Scotland.

How? I mean i am sure you're right but you've repeated this several times tonight, so i'd like to hear your reasons.
Sorry Mr Roland I don't have the reasons tonight :( All I have is disappointment that you could give us something to cling on too! You bastard :( All I wanted was Labour victory

Jim Murphy drinking a can of Irn Bru.

I dunno, still feels too soon. I voted Yes, but respect that the majority voted No only a year ago.

She's fecking younger than me. First footballers, now MP's. It's like tonight has been designed specifically to depress me.
Went to the GPs recently and my doctor was rather attractive and about my age. Depressing.

Reuters: SNP win Eurovision.

I genuinely think he has some sort of deal with them. His product placement is just too uncanny in all of his videos.

To be a fair I wish I had some Irn Bru to drink right now.

They all should. Harman, Balls, Miliband, Burnham. Step back from the front bench.

That could be the best idea, completely new start in terms of personal. All of these were closely linked to the Blair and Brown years (especially Balls), which might have played a bigger role here than we can see right now, especially in England.

The Mirror have updated their front page from earlier tonight, from "Five more damned years?" to "Five more damned years".

You're whole country has voted SNP and fecked the rest of us and i'm the bastard?

She is the same age as me....and I can look upon her appearance today and say she has less life experience compared to me!

Cardiff Central: Enormous swing for Labour.
It's on - come back, Ed.

Sorry. I forgot that it's our duty to shut up and vote Labour.
it isn't. i mean what does it matter to you? conservative majority, Scottish referendum, you lot vote yes and then we get stuck with the privatised NHS, massive cuts everywhere and general poverty for working people.
