Is there a bonus for coming first? Sunderland are fecking rushing like mad

Exit poll is rarely far off the truth, 92 was the exception but it was wrong by 70 seats.

We'd need a major gaffe by polls tonight.

feck the poor, they deserve it now they've voted for it, let them experience the pain of brexit and a tory majority.

Haha at people thinking remain would win another second referendum if this exitpoll is true.

How could anyone vote for a party led by this clown?

As many were saying, brexit decided this election.

I disagree. Corbyn and his band have to go now and Labour have a chance to find a real leader for the next election. Many people voted against Corbyn tonight, not for Boris.
They'll slate any Labour leader they don't like. They called Milliband's energy policy Marxists and then the Tories implemented something that was pretty much the same a few months later.

Labour face losing around a third of their MPs. Remarkable. If this is true there’s going to be some well known names falling tonight.

Corbyn will obviously go but the Lib Dem results tells you that it's not just centrism that's needed.
I think you specifically need the Labour party doing it.

just shows how lies and deception are more powerful than ever ... and people dumber than ever before

All down to Jeremy Corbyn. Anyone with half a brain can see how weak and uninspiring he is. Losing 70 seats to a moron like Boris Johnson takes some doing.

Said it before, all down to Labour's incredibly flawed leadership election process.

Think I might stay up just to see who releases them first.
I always thought Edgabston was traditionally the constituency that released results first.

I honestly have never believed a second referendum would turn out differently anyway.
Same. At best it'd be a close win for Remain but still by a slim margin. The country wants what it wants I guess. Democracy doesn't always go the way we want it to.

Horrible news but sadly not too unexpected. A few people on here must have been blown out of their echo chamber. If you dared suggest Corbyn was a dim-witted, baggage laden mediocrity, you had your head bitten off and were told to educate yourself by reading Chomsky.

Ah feck my phones on fire, I just replied to Laura K

I honestly cannot believe all that after 10 years of cuts, cuts, cuts and some of the most lying and deceiving people running the Tories people vote them in. I honestly think people should be tested to vote.

It remains the same though, they’ll just elect another hopeless dope instead.

I can't get over losing 70 seats to this current Tory government. I really can't.

As a somewhat neutral I am amazed.

We're a racist country that hates the poor. Not exactly news but feck me is this a depressing confirmation of it.
